I'm 21 these days (yay alcohol! (actualy I dont drink)). If any of you have seen the member-photos section, you may have read my post about vanity. Same thing here. Why do people who have never posted a thing or contrited a lick to this project come out of the woodwork when given an opportunity to talk about themselves.

Maybe people like to introduce themselves first, but then decide the project isn't for them and bugger off

BTW, you're 21 and you dont drink? Thats pretty impressive. I've been drinking since about 15... although legal age is 16... good old England! (I'm a responsible drinker though... if there ever was one)

I dunno how Americans put up with the 21 drink law, even my older sister got ID'd when on holiday in San Fran (23 at the time):roll:

Yeah, Amreican drinking laws are rediculous and archaic. As seen as you hit 18, youre old enough to decide wiether you can put your life in the govorments hands by joining the army. Your old enough to die for your country, but still not old enough for a little drinky.

PS. It's not really a matter of will power for me to not drink. I just dont like alcohol much. Exept a nice glass of wine once and a while.

You sure about that? It's 18 to be served with beer in a public house or off-licence, which is what matters.

Oh god... I've screwed up royally, I didn't mean I was smoking or fecking at age 16, for one thing I've never smoked (cigarettes, only shisha at age 20), and no sex until age 18, but I started drinking at around 15ish.

What I meant was I got the legal age for drinking (18) mixed up with the legal age for sex and smoking (16)... which doesn't make sense to me, surely smoking is just as bad as drinking?

You can drink under your parent's supervision at 16 in the UK, iirc.

Under your parents supervision you can drink at the age of 5, IIRC. There's no precedent saying that you have to be a certain age to drink in your own/family's property.

Under the age of 16 and it's technical rape. Neither party has their majority so they can't give legal consent, which means that it's nonconsensual sex (rape). However, this is only important if one party comes forward and tells the police, otherwise, no-one gives a shit.

No, you get caught having sex at 15 and you're in deep shit with your family. unless its with someone over 18, then they get arrested, and you're both all over the news. There's a whole big consent issue that gets really messy depending on different ages.

BTW its the year 2006 AD, not 1600 AD. Meh, why did america have to be founded by prudes!
