There are Dwemer ruins in Hammerfell. Ever heard of Fang Lair?

This could be from Hammerfell, couldn't it? As you said yourself, there are dwemer ruins out there...

On the drawing itself: I like it :p I don't know how Oblivion is on scripting and stuff, but it would be great to use such a cannon yourself :P Imagine shooting daedra bats out of the sky with such a cannon :P would be lots of fun. But i don't know what lore tells us about such things, however, i remember those giant crossbows with feet in the Morrowind dwemer ruins.

I don't think dwemer really use spike as decoration. Besides that, its nice :) Maybe you should add some pipes and stuff just like the towers in Morrowind, but i'm not good at lore so i don't know if those pipes are on every dwemer tower, or only on those from Morrowind.

EDIT: And could you use www.imageshack.us or such a site for uploading your images? Thanks.

Notice how noone responds when you don't use imageshack or photobucket? You choose to be ignorant though.

Please host you images on www.imageshack.de as per the FAQ I posted for you.

Then, post all of these in the Off-Topic Concept Art thread, as I already informed you.

Thirdly, read up on your lore and get a grip. Insane, unjustified ideas have no place here. Design your concepts around whats logically and stylistically possibly in the TES world.

Fourth on the list: Please spend more time on your art work. Add more details, straighter lines, shading, texture, ect.

If you don't want to follow the rules I strongly suggest you post your work at the following link.

They'll love it.

Lord Vaders Concept art

Post by Lord Vader »

Not to be patronising, Vader, but it appears a bit 2-dimensional at an angle to be modeled (I'd assume this is showing three corners of a square plot). If you were going for a more functional design, it's important to remember more than one perspective. Of course, if you were meaning it to be showing more than one side at once, remember to include more dimension

lol, except for the missing dimensions, it's pretty good, compared to mine. (Check my thread "row's concept art")

Please keep all your work in one thread. Here is the link to your original thread titled "Lord Vader's Concept Art".

http://tamriel-rebuilt.org/old_forum/viewtopic.php?t=15517

In its current state, its would be really hard to make a model off this sketch. It doesn't have any detail, shading, perspective, volume or texture... but don't give up.

You can also find lots of tutorials on how to improve your art by searching the internet. When I started getting more serious about drawing I actually went to www.about.com and I did a search for "drawing" or "learn how to draw". They've got some pretty good information. And while anime isn't my interest area, there are countless tutorials for that style online... those easy to find tutorials actually got me started. ;)

Sorry for being offtopic, but what is it with people here and the ESF?

Its damn annoying, since many here make out ESF's all idiots and n00bs... sure there are a lot of idiots and n00bs there, probabaly about half the active members (most of which congregate in Oblivion General), but there's also a lot of dedicated and intelligent Elderscrolls fans who know their stuff and do offer good insights into the series, check the lore forum if you dont believe me! Would an idiot/n00b be able to work out the Camoran Unsurper theory behind Oblivion?

Come to think about it, in my experiance, just about every public forum has its idiots, I'm sure I've have been considered one from time to time :P, not that I care!

And now for the on-topic comment:
I wonder when Lord Vader will notice all his images have been replaced by notices that he should upload his images at imageshack :D?
P.S. Please don't make handbags, wallets, belts or shoes out of Orix

This thread is old, and Vader has hosted his files on imageshack ever since.

And for sake of making myself clear i refering to the fact that nothing on the ESF mod forum comes under a critical eye. I said nothing about them being idiots or noobs.

Now lets leave this thread alone.

I've seen the tutorials on that site and they're very good Vader. I think that your idea's are great, only your drawing skill confuses me sometimes, i can't get the point of the drawing... I would take a look on that site Morden posted, it has very good tutorials.
