Calling to all lore people

Post by Stalker »

We will need to know all lore possible about Hammerfell and we need it in a readable and nice format everybody can take a short glance at and find what he\she needs. For that we need a few people who would dedicate time collecting HF lore. Please sign up here.

I believe Sload had already begun creating a thread for this topic.

Edit: It's a sticky in the Lore Discussion Forum, just below this one!

Which is exactly why I wanted people to add information to it.

I can easily help... I'm on winter break, but all my friends are either on vacation or at an awesome party nobody told me about; so I've got plenty of time to dedicate. I'll post what I find on a snippet-by-snippet basis, then organise it later.

I'm of course up for dedicating my already extensive knowledge of TES lore, and copy of daggerfall for research.

I've worked some on MW province in this project's earliest stages and I might be motivated to help out with another map from the lore in this thread and elsewhere...

...if you'll have me, after my rather sudden and unexplained departure... :O

Edit:
Thanks for the warm welcome. Didn't wan't to hijack the thread, though :)

And rather long absense! Moorkh! Sorry I must spam this thread, but it's been too long since I've seen that name. I'm glad you're still alive and willing to kick around a few cans!

OK. First thing you need to do is to collect the info on different factions of Redguards. Like Crowns, Forebears, Dune dwellers etc.

It's been about a month and a half. Don't raise dead posts. It does not help.

So why is the thread an announcement, and unlocked, if you don't want people posting to it?

In case somebody happens to discover some extremely useful and pertinent piece of info, or something changes in relation to this.

Actually, I'd change what Nomadic said to;

Do we really even need this discussion? Or was this an old announcement item that someone didn't look at the date on? Just drop the whole stupid argument. Or better yet, lock this thread.

An old announcement that I didn't check the date for. This is all my fault ;)

Rowa, I kindly ask you not to spam threads up. Spam posts serve no puropse, and they annoy the core members. Just a friendly reminder. ;)

these files were already collected some time ago. If you wish I will see if I still have them on hand or I can try and contact some of those people who do.
I said I would return and I may have been right. The past must stay in the past as agreed. If the core needs me or has a job for me just ask for now I watch and write.
