5-11 claim

Post by wererat »

i would like to claim 5-11. this consists of (-33,10) north east up to (-29,13) and (-29,14), (-33,9), and (-34, 9). this is the river and surrounding areas. i believe i could have this done by mid to early january.
with this i would add solthseim style tombs (or whatever is appropriate. 3-5). bandit caves (1-2). i would like to add a small village or mead hall to (-31, 12) which is the fork in the river. if you feel it would need more attractions please advise me on what.

I said I would return and I may have been right. The past must stay in the past as agreed. If the core needs me or has a job for me just ask for now I watch and write.

i was wondering if the village was allowed and what style it sould be (i was thinking of a raven rock or a nordic city). my plans are to have the village on 2 sides of the river. this will be where it forks and one part goes east torwards blacklight and the other west to skyrim. on one side i would have a more of a commercial 'zone' (if raven rock style) that contains the basic shops, and tavern. and across a bridge on the other is more of a residential area with homes and such. if it was to be a nordic style featured in skaal the one side would have the city (which is made up of homes, like in skaal) and on the other the great hall partly inbedded in a wood and high hills. i would draw a picture but i dont have the ability and the only image processor i currently own is microsoft paint.
i may be getting skaal and thirsk confused, and if i am then i mean thirsk where i put skaal (i spend alot of time in the mead hall either named skaal or thirsk and a lot of time in the city named skaal or thirsk(?))

EDIT: i meant east to claim 5-6 not to Blacklight. there is one that goes to the blacklight area but it is north of the one i am talking about

All I ask is no snow. Due to the meteorology of that area, it should be dry as a bone.

As for architecture, it should really be Redoran style. I can't tell you that it has to be Redoran, but I strongly suggest keeping with the House Territory that you are in.

Also, I need to point out that Nordic tombs are a lore violation here. There was a point when the Nords controlled some of this area for a short time (during which the may have built a few tombs) but dotting the area with them like in Bloodmoon is not realistic. Maybe have it hidden somewhere, like underwater. If it was easily found then the dark elves would have desecrated it long ago, so make it hard to find.

No snow, Redoran, and limit of one Nordic tomb. That is what I would suggest.
Trudging through the relentless Skyrim snowstorms, the lone Paladin looks on in sorrow as the land of Tamriel evolves without him; his mind occupied with other matters.

thanks for the advice. i didnt know redoran ruled this area. ill also take your advice with the tomb and place it on a river bank, well hidden. ill just add regular dunmer style tombs instead of the solstheim style.
ill add a kwama mine (fairly large size) near the village for the main source of income. and ill use the same trees for the forests that are in 5-1.

EDIT: and ill have no snow (if i would add some it would be on the top of the highest mountains. i dont think there are any mountains atleast high ones in my claim. so snow would be nowhere to be seen)
