ok so in my spare time today i managed to piece the in game map of cyrodiil together:

i then went and opened up the TESCS and took a screenshot of a place that i could easily match up with the map (mouth of the river that seperates hammerfall and cyrodiil) and went into photoshop and overlayed the cell to produce a grid box of a cell on the map. i then copied that cell and made the cell grid for oblivion:

i was going to go on to the hammerfall grid when i realized that the map of cyrodiil in the game that matches up with the cells is not proportionate to any maps of tamriel of hammerfall that i could find
i was wondering how we are going to aproach this problem, so that i can go on to making the grid for hammerfall (i know it seemd kinda early but whatever)

No, you're getting ahead of yourself. We're still planning things, but AFAIK, Hammerfell will be its own worldspace. Therefore, having a grid for proper lining up won't be AS necessary.knightmare wrote:ok so here i just merged HF with cyrodiil and i was wondering if i should create a gridmap of HF based off of this
Further, I'm sure that any 'Gridmapping' that we use will probably be done by an Admin, not a Member, to ensure accuracy. Its not that I'm saying that you'd do it improperly and they would do it 100% correct, though.
Your enthusiasm is good though. Why don't you have a thread in the Showcase forum? Or was it missplaced?
