Post by Oblis »

What about Vampires in Cyrodiil?

I'm a vampire and i'm too acceptable by live races even I am in 3rd level of death :P

Everyone is normal with me and nobody get ungry.

No vampire killers hunt me and I do have any clans to join.

Well, according to a book in Oblivion, whose name escapes me (Immortal Blood?) vampires of different provinces are very different to each other. The ones in Cyrodil seem to blend in with normal people, unlike those in Morrowind, and only get suspected of being a vmpire if they havn't fed (in which their features become more apparent).

I dont know if there are vampire guilds in Oblivion. Being a vampire is not something I've tried yet.

Vampirism in Oblivion is rather nicely done. The more you feed, the less powerful you are, but the less you suffer from vampiric drawback (you don't look like a monster and you can sunbath without risking anything).

This allows to have vampires walled-in behind caves, waiting patiently the day a hapless fool will release them (simple dungeon-dwelling monsters); and social, political vampires (one of the Counts is a vampire) as well.

Also, Vampirism is fairly synonymous with Necromancy. The race of man and the other elves are far more tolerant of them than Dark Elves or Redguards would be. Morrowind is a place where all life-and-death activities are very supervised, if not illegal. In Cyrodil, they are just common.
Stendarr is the God of Mercy and Justice. Therefore, he must also be the bearer of Duck Tape, for only Mercy and Justice can use Duck Tape for the Good of man.
