So here it is - the final-pre-mix version of my soundtrack.

i love it

i was listening to it while palying guild wars, it fits perfectly into a game world

Continues to be good. I love the ending, the build up to the climax is nice. My only suggestion is that you want to downplay the synth voices a little, there is one part near the end where they stick out a little too much.

Actually the voices are not supposed to be synth, they just sound not really good. This chor library sounds good when it is covered by another instruments, but in solo it sucks.
Should be fixed in final mix. =P

Yeah, voices are just too hard to imitate electronicly. But they sound good as part of the texture. Actualy, in the new version of the ES theme Mr. Soule uses them. I'm shure it will sound fine once you mix it though.

Cubase sx, EWQL, some beer.

Complicated to use this software you mean? Well, cubase is pretty complicated, but in any case is it worthy of trying it.

Really, I love music, game and movie soundtracks in particular, and this is just AWESOME. Really. A very, very good job on this. Something jumped up in my mind... is it possible to add violins to it with your tools? Like in the White Tree from The Return of the King soundtrack, theres great music with the violins playing along.... i love it:) Was just a suggestion btw, its perfect like it is.

Sounds great. Have you considered composing some mid-east sounding music? Or an ambient piece, perhaps for exploring?

Yep - Music is my job and I can not imagine my life without it. I am studying composition (instrumental/electronic) in the music high school now. Before I entered this high school I played Cello and Piano for 17 years, the last 12 years I played in different orchestras and half of this period as a solo chello.

I'm a music major too. I'm a singer though, and due to my sucking at music theory I cant take composition classes. So I just fool around on my own.

So are you working on middle eastern or western music next?

Huh, I am not an expert in music theory too!

The next piece will be something like exploring/ambient music. Will it be east or west we'll see.

I am glad to announce that I started today the second composition for this project. Unfortunally preview is still not avaliable (I wrote about 40 seconds but did not orchestrate properly) , but I hope that within next days I can show you something.

I'm alive, and your 'tamriel's theme' is wonderful (especially the end with chorus. Very epic, (almost too epic for in-game) would fit a cutscene or as bolt-on for main menu (my opinion).
Ending just made chills go down my spine, excellent build-up.

I've no experience in composition but have played the flute for quite some years.

Hi ALL!!
I am back!

Sorry that I was not here for such a long time. I had a real lack of time and do not have internet at home, but the next soundtrack is almost ready and I hope that I will upload it the next week.

It has some synth sounds, but I think they sound not bad there, but you'll hear it yourselves! =)

I am making now my half-diplom (don't know the english word) and I am working at two music schools. =)
