No the second is a model of a guard in Redguard, I didn't do it I don't do 3d, yet.
Ok, here is a better version, I just touched it up a bit, stuff I didn't like or kept annoying me.

Got another one. Some sort of highclass Redguard armorset, probably some palace guard or the likes.

Running out of ideas for Hammerfell Concepts, please make some suggestions if you've got something. I am practicing characters so armor/clothing concepts are prefered, or character concepts for someone specific that you know we will need, or not need, either way.

Yea I wouldn't mind doing some of that but at the moment I am trying to focus, get better at doing characters, eventually I might move towards that tho, especially for Hammerfell, it would be fun.Resadyn wrote:Those are really nice Turelio. The swords on that last one are wonderful. I would suggest architecture but you already said you didnt want to do that.

That gold banded cuirass looks awesome.
Try these for inspiration:
Indo-Persian helm,

Ancient Persian helm.

And I know there is supposed to be a Persain/Arabic theme, but can never resist the Corithian Helm, so here it is.

Persian Warrior.

Also, you can try drawing some swashbuckling pirate types. They fit into Hammerfall as well.

Wow. Those are amazing, Turelio. Obviously, this surpasses my skill at drawing by a LONG SHOT. Well, keep up the good work. I'm sure that your artistic talent will go really far, either here at TR or in life(maybe both!). Well, best of luck in your endeavors.

Thanks again guys, I am glad to do what I can for the Project, especially as it helps me too.
Not doing much at the moment, I am letting my brother barrow my Wacom Tablet so he can get into it(also bought one for his Birthday which is upcoming). Trying to get him into Art more, he only needs a nudge.
Anyways, well because of that I don't have it, and well I don't want to go back to doing things by mouse... ooh I can't imagine how I once did. Also, I haven't got my scannered hooked up yet, so cannot draw anything that way, just gonna wait for a bit.
My general idea, when it comes to Hammerfell Concepts, of characters anyways, is that the more japanese-like influences of their culture is the old part, more traditional, while the more persain-like is the modern. Like the Honorable Warrior idea would be much more traditional, but the Pirates are the new. I've had some interesting ideas in combining the two, in terms of outfits/armors and characters, not to mention maybe even some building styles. Anyways, just some thoughts here, open for discussion.
Edit: I also see some hints of a Carthage-like Culture, in terms of seafaring, and armor, check out the helmets for them in Redguard, got that greek/roman look to them, which carthage had too.

Wow, these are great! But, just one thing I noticed, in that the second one with the redguard holding the swords, he is wearing a cuirass that looks very similar to the new Dwemer for Oblivion.

Just thought it looked the same... No big deal really.

I hadn't really taken in any of the new Armor Concepts for Oblivion but even so, it hard looks the same. I would say that the only notable similarity are the virtical lines, but even those are different. And the Dwemer armor they appear just as decorative line work, but one the Redguard Armor Concept they (well suppose to) look more like seperate strips each of them, with a slight curve to each, almost as if it was a stuffed material. They don't seem very similar in my mind.Morgoth wrote:Wow, these are great!
