First of all, I wasn't sure if RP's are allowed, etcetera, around these forums...If they aren't could a mod and/or someone who knows just notify me (I didn't feel it necessary to make a thread asking about it and then another thread to actually do it).
If it isn't allowed, then please delete/lock/remove this thread, or whatever.
If it is allowed, then this thread shall function as a sign-up thread for a new RP [Role-Play], that I'll serve as the GM [Game Master] for--everyone's welcome.

PS
I'll post my character summary once I find out if this is okay or not (obviously, not if I find the latter true...but I assume that'd be easy enough to infer anyways).

Okay, in this case, I'll describe further the scenario.
Story Summary:
The story begins in High Rock. There is an increasing number of necromancers. It seems the King od Worms' influence is raining his reign of influence everywhere in recent times. It seems that every new mage nowadays wants in on the new necromancy scene, not to mention that the High Rock's Mage's Guild has officially unbanned the study of necromancy (ONLY the "study" of necromancy--USING necromancy itself is still, as of now, banned), and it seems, even, that the head of the Mage's Guild worships the Worm King himself, as he is slowly beginning to lean the guild towards the studies of conjuration and necromancy.
A new group of crusaders has emerged. They call themselves "The Knights of Arcadia." They say that their intention is to nobly defeat all of these newly emerging necromancers. But it seems that they are in it simply for glory. Many of them have received benefits that they have come to believe is universal. They expect free rooms, discounted prices, free rounds of drinks from all taverns, etcetera, and mostly people give them these things, just because they don't want to be labled as necromancers and then killed mercilessly by this group of "holy crusaders."
There are plenty of other necromancy hunters, but most of them are individuals and are nothing like the crusaders. There are also those who are not necromancers, but they oppose the Knights of Arcadia, simply due to the fact that they believe the Knights are in the wrong in this situation.
Will you join the Knights of Arcadia? The Necromancers? Will you side with the necromancers, if only temporarily to rid High Rock of the Knights of Arcadia, or will you play as an individual with your own agenda?
Rules:
-ANY TIME you want to manipulate another player's character (even if it's helping them do something), you can only say the action that you are doing to them, but DO NOT say it's effectiveness.
For example, if you want to attack another Player Character, say, "[your character name] swings his/her sword towards [victim's character name]"
DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES say anything like, "[your character name] swings his/hersword towards [victim's character name] and it sinks deep into his/her chest."
The effectiveness is up to the manipulated character to decide, EVEN IF IT IS ASSISTANCE!
-As the GM of this RP, if at any time, I think everyone is off-track/spamming/someone was affected without his/her consideration, I will retain the power to call a rewind. If the case ever arises, I will simply call to everyone's attention that we are going to go back to where it is necessary, and then I will post a summary of what is going on at the time that we are rewinding to (as just a recap).
-You ARE allowed to have multiple characters, if you sincerely think you can handle more than one, but please make no more than three, and if you DO make more than one character, you are REQUIRED to keep track of ALL OF THEM, and when you update, be sure to update for both/all three of them.
-Have fun, but remember--this is role-playing. Please, don't make your character a Godly beast who can't take any damage, and has absolutely no weaknesses at all. It's in your hands, and you can do it this way, but it's just more fun for everyone (INCLUDING you!) if you make a fun character who has some interesting weaknesses and such.
Oh, and this is mostly lore-friendly (seeing as I'm kind of a lore-freak), so if you're adding some random new race for your character EXPLAIN how the hell he/she got where he/she is, and produce a BELIEVABLE background on where his/her race came from, etcetera. And please don't be an unintelligable race/creature, like a goblin or something, unless you have a way he can communicate with the rest of the party. It just makes it more difficult.
With that said, if you want to join, go ahead, and post a brief summary of your character, where he/she is, why he/she is there, what race he/she is, what sex he/she is and whatever else you can think of that the rest of the role-players need to know (also, if you want to be in the Knights of Arcadia or the Necromancers or any other guild from the get-go, PLEASE specify this).
Diego's Summary
Name: Diego Draw
Race: Argonian
Class: Rogue
Sex: Male
Physical Description:
Piercing, red eyes, and a green face, with bright, nearly glowing blue cheeks. He has multiple extrusions coming from his head that are always slicked back.
His physique is amazing. He has picked up a lot of information from visits to multiple monestaries (though nobody in the monestaries knew he was there), and he has trained himself in a few martial arts-styled combat. He is trained in the use of light swords, such as shortswords or even moving up to katanas, but the only sword he ever uses in battle is his famed Shadowstrike. It isn't enchanted with any magicka, and it's basically just a Fine Steel Sword, but rumors say it has the souls of thousands of its victims stored in its hilt.
Personal Description:
He is a slick negotiator and an intellectual extroardinaire. His silver tongue used to be used to win anyone over, until he became the infamous assassin. He used to go by another name, but now the only Tamriel knows him by is "Diego."
Subsequently, he is forced to hide in a secretive cave, where he collects books, scriptures, and pretty much everything else. When he's not out assassinating people, or on his own adventure of discovery, he is in his study researching, or meditating on himself. He is known to occaisionally don a full dark hood and cloak and is able to conceal his identity in the city, where he can manipulate people to his will, through shrewd talking, which has led to much paranoia.
Diego has developed his own agendas. He will only assassinate the cruel and unworthy; he wishes to purge stupidity in all of its nature by killing anyone he deems worthy of death. Some have even known to idolize him for this. Some see him as a gentleman of highest respect. Others (mainly rich nobles, and stupid drunks) see him as a blaspheming night-dweller, and some have even (falsely, of course) placed him in the same category as the necromancers, due to his "dark nature."
Backstory:
On his own agenda, Diego is heading back to his cave from a day in the city to get his items repaired and things. In his stark black cloak, he is enigmatic, to say the least. A few men in shining steel armor, all drunk after a night in the inn collide with him. He continues to move, ignoring their clumsy attitude, but they stop him.
"Hey, Necromancer! Get back here! You think you can perform your deeds in OUR TOWN?!"
Diego quickly realizes he has been mistaken for the commonly sighted Necromancers, who often wear dark hoods and cloaks to show their devotion to their idol, Mannimarco.
"I am not a Necromancer, fools. Let me be."
"You say you are not a Necromancer, but why do you wear that filthy robe?"
"To remove myself from the sea of imbeciles. Now, I sternly warn you. Let me be."
"Hah! You think your necromantic ways can hurt us? Do you see this amulets? They silence any necromancy within 200 yards of us. Your stupid undead legions couldn't even touch us."
"Fine," Diego said, obviously disgusted with these obviously slobbering drunks, "my warning was not heeded...Draw."
"Draw wha--" the 'leader' of the group stopped in his tracks. His shining steel armor was pierced quicker than he could speak. Just as quickly, Diego stabbed the other two Knights of Arcadia with two rapid-yet-graceful strikes. Three men lay dead on the ground. The night-guard rushed over, but he was far too late. Diego was already scurrying off on his stark-black horse to his cave. He was satisfied with his kills. He had no more sympathy for such stupidity.

Okay, so if you want to 'sign up,' I'll probably start the RP up after we get about four or five people left (don't worry; you can join in at any time even in the middle of the RP--you just need to provide a backstory and summary for your character).
