Jonrd463's showcase
Hi all. I'm new around here. I'm not really a modder, but when browsing through the Sound & Music forums, I saw a need I think I can meet. I've got this nifty program that's used for making nature soundscapes. Some of you may have heard it of it. It's called Atmosphere. Anyway, someone was asking for a sound effect for Argon swamp ambience. Attached is something I whipped together using insects, birds, and other wildlife commonly found in swamps around America. It's a little under 5 minutes in length and is cropped to loop seamlessly and indefinitely.
If it's useable, feel free. A quick mention of my handle would be appreciated in any credits, but not a necessity. I'm such a user when it comes to mods, I figured I'd give back a little with what I could do.
Thanks!

At Sload's urging, I thought I'd make myself official. I dabble in a little bit of modelling, with my most notable work being a rebuilt Hlaalu building that was modified and added on to by the modder Oom Fayat and is being used by the Silgrad Tower team. I also do a little with sound, and that's what I hope to contribute to TR.
A couple months back, I posted a dample of some nature sound effects for a swamp. I can do a variety of natural effects, from hot summer days to violent thunderstorms. Attached a a sample of the swamp sound. I've also included my audition for Khajiit male voices in Stirk.
Thanks!

Another Khajiit
Just experimenting with pitch, plus I was curious how I sounded with game music in the background.
Critique and opinions on all of my samples is appreciated.

I agree. You do really well with the voice inflections, and semi-half-rolled R's that Khajiits do whilst speaking. Good job.ch85us2001 wrote:You make an amazing Khajiit!!
I especially like the first one.
If I had to make any word of construction at all, it would maybe be that the swamp sounds should be more ambient. It's not a problem, really, it's just that I thought it could be more just sort of wind and small cricket-y noises, and less bird-chirping. As I said, though...You did really well with all of it.

If you like Pina Coladas, and getting caught in the rain...
