khaines showcase

Post by khaine »

this is a house that i made. Contains lots of rooms which are, library, armoury, kitchen, forge, dining room, bed rooms a staff bedroom and more. Library looks barren as there are no books in it (it is designed for someones personal collection). May be a little fps killing because of its size (did not know about making certain rooms into seperate cells). entrance is very dodgy (you will see what i mean) but i guess its the interior that counts.
This is my first attempt so please do not bite my head off!
criticize away...

First off, I would like to advise against commenting on a mod you never downloaded.

Welcome to TR, khaine! While we welcome all of the help we can get on the Morrowind province, we also value other skills. So, what else can you do other then make interiors. We're looking for, among other things, scripters, modellers, writers and even lore gurus.

I'll review your interior when I have the time, that should be in a day or two, until then, browse around and learn some about this project. :)

Do you have OB? If so, post something you've made in ES4.

Your Velothi manor is very nice. I looked at it through the CS. The structure is aesthetically pleasing. I only noted a couple of things. Mainly I think there are two issues: the Dwemer lights and decorating. The Dwemer bulbs in the structure don't fit the style of the building. Plus a collector would never be able to find that many lights in mint condition. Maybe torches or braziers instead. The 6th House troths in the armory have the same problem. The MH displays don't mesh well with the velothi. Mesh well Get it. I made a joke. :) Maybe you could use velothi altars instead. Some of the bottles bleed into each other in the library, the table setting and liquor tables are too perfect, repair items and glass ingred. in the kitchen should go in the armory, and the walls are too bare. Other than those things, I think it's very good. You are very creative. I have never seen a house of cards in the game before. It made me smile. The library looks like a museum. Perhaps the library can also be used as a museum featuring Dwemer artifacts since they appear elsewhere in the house. The bottles in the kitchen look very nice. That must have taken awhile. I think some well placed tapestries and wall hanging would definately make the house look even better.

As for the exterior of the structure, perhaps move it into the swampy area, that way it isn't so conspicuous. And if the entrance doesn't fit perfectly, change the height of the land.

Overall great job.

Ah, the glass might explain it: As there is an armoury, maybe the owner of the cave tinkers with dwemer objects which he collects, fixing the lights up and such. That's the only thing I can explain away.

I can't upload, my brothers on the Morrowind computer, but I might take a look tomorrow, or when/if another version is posted up. :D

For some reason I think khaine is no longer interested in TR, as he hasn't logged in in two months.
