Travelling photos

Post by Zephyr »

Hey,

As some of you might remember, I took a leave from TR last February since I went backpacking in Southeast Asia and Japan as well. Here are pictures, in case you're interested:

Woah!!! Cool, reminds me of reading my mums diary when she went backpacking.

I have been to Thailand and Malaysia... But all he other places are on my 'to go to' list. Some great stories there. You know Zephyr, it's the kinda thing people like Bill Bryson earn money for, I suggest to anyone who can write, and goes on a backpacking holiday, write a book about it, and get it published.

Travelling to other countries isn't quite as expensive as it sounds, but it's still probably about the cost of a new computer. A damn sight better, though, in my opinion.

Awesome pics, zephyr, sounds like you had a great time. An excellent presentation of 'em too. Looks like a pretty awesome trip.

I'm almost tempted to post some pics from the trip to Spain and England I took over this January...

Uh oh.. we've got some crazy twilight zone shit going on here Zeph. We were both on vacation around the same time. I was backpacking through Ottawa, capital of Canada, in April, and in front of the National Art Gallery I took this picture:

I think some artist is trying to pull a fast one on us :P If anyone else has spotted this statue or any of its copies... post it. Haha.

I swear on my life I've met that artist guy in Laos before... somewhere. I think it might've been a REALLY long time ago, when I was little, but his face just popped out at me from memory.
And yes, that IS the best bear ever.

Morden: Wow, that's really a strange coincidence. I thought that the statue was an unique one to the huge shopping/commercial area in Roppongi but apparently not.

I hope you others will post some pics too. Theo's pics are really nice too, although some of them are pretty small. And I think it's always nice to read desriptions of the images, but they're tons of work too.

Makes me want to go to Italy! But not so much as going to Japan :p
