But there aren't many farming tools that would work as weildable weapons. Not in OB anyway. the staff will be easy, but we also got to remember that if the god has a daedric counterpart then they will give out their associated artifact.

I like the arm plants- Very gross, but cool. Also, the eyeball-gate-thing is very cool in a gross way.

I understand the reasoning, but I think that it looks more like the Grim Reaper now then it did before, since Death is always depicted with a scythe and not with a sickle. But that's a minor remark.I've also changed Zeht's sickle into an odd scythe, in order to look different from death's tool, and be more burdoning, rather than a weapon-like object. In retrospect, it looks a lot more like Pound's conveyance, which enforces it as a wise choice.

Okay, bear with me... but I had one of those scribbly lightbulb moments:

These gargoyle-like sandstone sculptures (known as the Rihad snake-men) dot Rihad arcitecture like cherubs of the roman empire. The most noteable thing about them is the adopted relaxed repose they hold, and the ineffable curious nature of their city. It is said that the lounging these statues take on is to invite Ruptga and his spirits to stop for a rest. While they are popularily titled snake-men, they are averagely less the size of children.
Please tell me this is too ambitious.. I'm getting ahead of myself.

"Many, as in Rihad, go nude, rolling around in the dirt and nipping at the legs of passersby, "striking out" as if they were snakes themselves"

It doesn't have to be Rihad, rather it would be better in a heavily Ragada city

My guess is, to widen the range of poses and lessen the amount of statues looking the same, is the age-old NPC figure. However, would that work with these poses and that head, or am I just dreaming?

That's actually something we'll need to explain, but not until we're working on Rihad's backstory.Lutemoth wrote:"Many, as in Rihad, go nude, rolling around in the dirt and nipping at the legs of passersby, "striking out" as if they were snakes themselves"

They're cute little statues. I think they should be all over all the cities, except Taneth where Clavilla Zilla is maniacly anti-Yoku. There should be more in Crown cities.

I am very much in favor of these sculuptures. It are small things, but these are the things that make a world (and a game) come alive. Such statues are the stuff you find in the small alleys of every old city, the stuff of folklore and cultural heritage. They are useless in regards to gameplay or quests, but what would Vivec have looked like if you didn't chance upon a fresco here and there. (This is also the reason why I actually like the sculpture of the Lucky Old Lady in Bravil. It's there and everyone knows it, but it's actual origin is unknown and shrouded in legends.)

Pound's Malooc. I just love the ogre-ish look he has.

Yer, I kinda crushed that in my mind
I didn't realise he was evil. But it definetly looks cooler as a strong kinda person. And the cool thigns on his back.
Infact, I think it'd be cool if those things were jewels.
Leki has three on her groin area. Anyway, my drawign was a bad represenation of him, infact terrible .

I wouldn't call it refined, but your style is fantastic, it has movement about it and a natural feel.
Mine are quite often stiff, and dead . And NOT EVIL enoguh. So i wanna see your idea of Malooc Lute. I know you must be darn busy .

I'll see what I can do, Pound. Mind you, I loved the body type you've picked, so you'll see a lot of things staying

Problem is, reeves is no god.... which makes his acting dismal
But I agree in certain situations. But certain gods, like Sheograth need expessions and also Namira. How do you know their evil without an extent to their expression. However I totally agree with that statement when you talk about teh Hammerfell gods, becuase of those masks it does add a timeless and perpetual quality to them. Seemingly more material than mortal.

Pounds Malooc would be a lot more evil if he was like, mad. With the whole eybrows going down thing.
But since he doesn't have eyebrows or even multiple eyes, it could maybe be done with the muscle lines and with a sort of indent in the middle of the top of his eye thing.

A few things on the way, to letcha knows. In the meantime, A meridian pain-point chart taken from "Night Falls on Sentinel". Yes, 8 points were not mentioned, so I made those up to the best of my knowledge. This chart also refers to points on the back of the subject (such as two on the back of the head), but is merely a chart for those familiar with the art. A secondary female chart 'll be around sooner or later

Nice tapestry Lute, aye, I remember the pressure points thing in a Night in Sentinel, I bet this would look good in a dojo/combat training as part of the local fighters guild or something.

cool drawing. i caan see this in the DB equivelent hideouts since these points are ment to kill quickly i dont think its exactly a FG thing. one complaint only, would it kill ya to draw on texture sized canvases?
i turned it into a tapy real quick:

See CHICKEN or PIGEON for inspiration.El Scumbago wrote:Yes, now that I think about it, it would be like a small velociraptor, the stance and shape of body, that is.
Dunno if that intrigues you. If you've watched Jurassic Park 2, you should remember these tiny dinos in the beginning of the movie, which also appear later.
Does anyone remember the way they moved? Their acceleration and leap capabilities? The way they turned their head, sometimes all the time round and round like neuroticals, sometimes slowly, when examining something etc etc...
Anyway, that's about what I had in mind Lutemoth, a small neurotic psychopathic creature that can run like hell.
Would you be interested in making a concept to show how such a desert inhabitant would be like?

I think they should be all over, and maybe every one should be unique if isn't too much work. And like they should have about 5 in each city, varying depending on the political nature. Like Taneth would have 1 and it would be hidden, and the other crown cities would only have 3 or so, but Hegathe would have like 8.
