Pale pass

How the heck can i enter pale pass?

Ive heard about it both in and out of game, but cannot find the entrance.

Is the entrance a valley or a cave?
and where???

There's a quest where one of the Countesses gives you a map in order to find it. You have to retrieve a madstone or something for her if you do the quest. But, I forget the details. At any rate, I think this should be moved to the lounge. It's not exactly TR-related.

I'm not sure about the quest being a requirement, but the ES Forums would be an infinitely better place to ask this question than TR. People have more general knowledge of stuff like that over there.
