haha, my he-mans arms fell off long ago, how is that still in so good condition.

andyway, i've always thought RedGuard clothing should be quite pirate(y). Flared/frilly shirts and whatnot with tight leather trousers. A LOT like Macar's designs actually

If the one on the right is included in Hammerfell, I will never take it off. (Not even to dryclean it.)

a couple of things from the comicbook. first one is a shirt with a long shirt atop it. the second is a HF version of the priest robe.

the second is another exquisite shirt. not too sure i like it... the pants are not actualy part of the outfit, but i felt like drawing them.

this is a simple concept
hide top which ties from the side.
hide skirt /belt combo.
maybe a peasant.
i havea few other ideas that I'll try to get in by the end of the wsg.

Interesting- are those poser models with cell shading?

not entirely. Though the same thing can be done with poser much faster.

on the second one the hair and the top (only the shoulder pads) are from a poser mesh.
the girls are older poser4 models convered to DFX and wavefront objects.

I do not have poser so these conversions allow me to take them into blender and add bones making them again poseable. (though all morphing (as far as I know how) must be done by moving vertices.

I also use makehuman.
http://www.dedalo-3d.com/

poser itself is a better option (maybe one day I'll try to get it running with wine).

the shades are not cell shading that is computones for comic illustration.

after getting everything into manga studio I then draw (using wacom tablet) the bottom half of the shirt.
the puffy pants and the slippers.

manga studio has great tools for inking where line smoothing and thickness controls make the drawn lines look very straght or smooth and uniform.

i used the same methods in an oblivion comic I started
http://s6.quicksharing.com/v/4901625/saurik.pdf.html
there is a pdf where i converted oblivion screen shots and tablet drawn line art into an unfinished comic.

Interesting mixture of techniques. BTW, the link for the comicbook dosent work.

I had seen an effect in a cell shading program that my brother has that make things look like drawings- that's why I thought that it could be done that way.

the link is to quick share.
at the top is a small word "download".
quick share stinks they fill the page with their BS and make the file download link hard to find.

Oh, and I though that the "Not even to dryclean it" had a more literal meaning... This seems to be a much better WSG than the last one, a lot of pictures and so far the only picture I've shuddered at is that of Prince Adam, or whoever Lutemoth's plastic figure is. :P (Not to say that the submissions from other WSGs are bad or anything, of course.)

This submission was a lot later than I hoped it would be (had to spontaneously help someone move)

As you can see, it's heavily inspired by LadyN's Yoku works (old redguard, as the imperials calls it)

oh, and..
