I would rather Bethesda add the same level and depth of content from Morrowind to their future games.
Well, I would be happy with what you said, or an engine update. Oblivion was extremely disappointing though.
I would be happy with loads more negatives in Oblivion if it would have let them keep the depth of MW, but Beth ahs turned into a money orientated anti-lore menace
I wish I'd taken Oblivion abck really, but luckily we can create a bit of depth with TR.

indeed. oblivion was dissapointing but since i began using the new CS (8 months back now) i have been perfectally happy with it knowing that i can create or recreate almost anything i could possibly want ingame. so, it's not so dissapointing now. the engine's good, the graphics are pretty, the dialogue is well done, CS is awesome (if a bit unstable) and the world is created beautifully. only down side is lack of relevant sub-quests and lore inaccuracies.

Thank you Mr. Cryptic.Yes, it is not.

If they figure they can get some cash out of it, they may do it. It's not like players' petitions are of any importance, they don't show the whole image of the gamers' population. But it's not only about the engine, they would also need to recreate the chars in facegen, remake all the textures and remodel all of the fauna and flora. I wish it'd be all about the engine upgrade, but it's certainly not.

Theoretically, all of Tamriel was found in Arena. However, the real content in Arena was just all the cities and towns (it was already a fair amount) and a total of 18 dungeons.-Saddistic_Angel- wrote:They didn't? Oh well, my mistake.
Everything else was randomly created as far as you went. So if you explored the wilderness around a city, you were walking in randomland, and it was very easy to get lost because of that. Each city was, in effect, surrounded by an infinite world full of wandering people, enemies, and random dungeons.
Daggerfall introduced the idea of a consistent world -- you could shun fast travel and walk from one corner of the map to its opposite. (It would just take several week of real time.) Daggerfall also used a realistic scale -- not necessarily 1:1, but close enough.
Morrowind started the trend of making you play in a high-def model of the world rather than in the world. The scale was seriously out of wack, and only a couple hours were necessary to make what would be described, in the world, as a week-long treck.
Oblivion's scale results in an even smaller world, though that's compensated by the largest geographical area covered. Or in short, where there is one house in Oblivion, Morrowind would have had four, and Daggerfall would have had a thousand.

BAHAHAHAHAHAHA I don't often laugh out loud, but i just laughed so loud then! Nice one.
BTW I would buy a next Gen Version of Morrowind, if they rebuilt the Morrowind engine, and put it on sale, it would sell like hotcakes... seriosuly.
With extras anyway.
