Its a phrase like "floating" or "bleeding." IIRC, *I* proudly came up with 'caspering' to describe something that is positioned such that you can view part of the mesh that has no polys... like the underside of a cave rock. Hence, a now you see it, now you don't type of thing.

All those: fixed.

It's much better with cell coordinates and ID. And the extra coordinates, too (I use the Z one to check which of the 753 different flora_random_plant_01 has been reported as being naughty).

There are a few mesh errors. There's an axe that's held in reverse. It can be fixed, it's a question of opening in Blender and twisting stuff.

I'll do that... Later. For the next Data update.

and I got a scary error in Bal Oyra

I got all these geometric shapes and lines appearing around certain characters, instead of shadows, then my computer rebooted

im thinking its a problem with Morrowind Graphics Extender though

It's a problem with the game, everytime you load up a new version of the same thing, and play with a saved game that was saved while you had the previous plugin installed, the banner will persist.

I always save once with no plug-ins, then load up the game again with the new plug-in. I thought that prevented this from happening.

and that happens with characters and doors too, both of which I do not get errors for, just the banners

Don't know if this are reported but if not they need fixing before the next release,

In the Guar Farm north of Tel Quada the interiors of the two shacks that are there, aren't connected, for the masters shack there's not even a door. Also there are a bleeding drum near the bench.

By the way this litle farm is a nice touch.

Oooookay. First off, I would like to say this is awesome. Secondly, I believe I may be at fault for these errors, considering no one else have mentioned these. I'm running the first deluxe version, and it's quite cool, but nearly every where I go, a mesh doesn't load, such as "cliff_45or.nif" in Firewatch. As I said, I suspect I may be at fault for these errors, like I'm not putting files where I should. And I noticed a few days ago Gez mentioned "registering" the BSA. What exactly does that entail? Anyway, cool mod.

just unpack to "data files" you should have a bsa file, the .esm file, and the actual Map1 plug-in

I promise, if I'm in charge of packaging the next beta, it'll be shipped with Ghostwheel's bsareg tool.

Registering a bsa is just a question of opening your Morrowind.ini file (if file extensions are hidden by windows, it'll be just Morrowind, but instead of the moon-and-star icon, it'll have a text file icon with a little cog), finding the [Archives] section (it's toward the end, near weather), and adding a line for TR_Data.bsa.

Large mods with a lot of resources often use .bsa files. For example, Emma's Children of Morrowind or the large landmass mod Wizard's Islands.

Here's how it looks like on my ini:

Problem: The team is quite liberal with the Publican class- this class is reserved by Bethesda for people who rent beds. Also, a good number of NPCs offer services who shouldn't- recommend replacing the NPCs who have Trader Service as their class to merely Trader.

These aren't critical- just merely thought you would know, in case you try to keep your mods like it was really part of the game.

idk if it's supposed to be like this, or if i installed it wrong, but I was on the Construction Set looking at the nifty new armor and weapons. It would appear that either most of them have no art file, or no icon. But then again,i could have installed it wrong....

Errror: Book of Maps of Molagrehad contains outdated pictures (the ones with bridges to Vvardenfel which has been removed). Also the content should be updated.
Fix: Rewrite the book and alter the picture.

Indeed you did!

1. Put the file "TR_Data.bsa" in your Morrowind/Data Files directory.
2. Register that bsa in your Morrowind.ini. If you have no idea what this means, then just run BSAreg, which [url=http://www34.brinkster.com/ghostwheel/bsareg.zip]you'll find here[/url]

Perhaps your CS has a problem and needs to be re-installed. Have you checked the mod in-game? Do you meet the same errors there?

Icons for critter bits were a bit rushed. Like critter sounds. In fact, everything critter-related was rushed. It'll be better later. :)

There are a lot of those things. I personally checked each of the exterior filler, but I don't think anybody checked the links between interior and exterior for the cities.

May be something in his script setting his speed or athletism too high.

All pics for the books, and in fact all of the map books, will be redone. They're left-over from a previous version (notice how it mentions a bridge between Tel Mora and Firewatch?). The transparency issue here is that the game cannot render transparent .dds images which have dimensions that aren't powers of two.

When I mentioned that Telvanni Guard in Port Telvannis I should have explained better what I meant, so, I'll try... :P

This Guard has in it's AI to patrol a distance the size of half his body... (!!!)
And that's a REALLY small distance... :P

Well i'm almost done with map 1 exploration, and before i post my beta coments file i must say to whoever is doing the fixing... The area around Yasmuruh (SP?)... the deadric shrine on the way from Port telvanis to Sadras Plantation is a mess i mea there are mushrooms and roots and rocks floating all over the place some, very visible near the road others more hidden, its like someone had moved them by accident... take a look around thata area, it really is a mess it's amazing but really a lot of floats and bleedings. just an heads up.

Just began to play with the Beta 1 release.
Absolutely top notch folks. The towns are delightful - a real treat to the senses. I am enjoying traveling and looking.
Here is my report for the first few hours.

Cell: Cirtritashpi
Location: right on the south west coast.
Error: Cavern door floating not attached to anything leads to a tiny grotto.

Cell: Main library
Location: Bookshelf on right
Error: has a book sticking out the back of it.

Cell: The Silver Serpent - Private Area
Location: The Door
Error: Opens with spacebar but when you turn around to leave the door is locked and trapped.

Inventory Graphic for Beetle Resin needs re-doing.

Experienced a crash when I asked Viania Claeni to take me by boat from Bal Oyra to Tel Ounda

Who is supposed to fix these things?
