Statue is in a garden, but that's probably why people have trouble there.

The fire is the only thing questionable about that, because no one ever goes there, but it's just to vista point.

The staircase might be the deck mesh not aligned properly, but it also might just be the modeller's fault. I think it's the latter.

theres one in the lighthouse that should say on instead of one.

the kitchen recipie book I has spacing errors,

I also found various other errors in other books as well.
Hi everybody, I'm new.
But anyway, I also have been looking in books.
So far I have found seven book errors.

The book titled, "The Iperial Kitchen, Volume II" is mislabeled in it's interior as, "The Imperial Kitchen I" The text in this book also has spacing errors in the ingredients text block for each recipe. There is no space between the words where there was supposed to be a line break.
Example:
"2 handfuls of dried dates
handful of stone-pine kernelsa
pinch of salt1 teaspoon of
pepper1 cup of red wine3
teaspoons honey"

This line break error is also found in the ingredient lists of "The Imperial Kitchen, Volume I"

Most of the errors I have found are similar to this.
Moving on.

In the book, "Insight, Tranquility, Divinity" It appears that there are no spaces after any of the punctuation marks. Although the first paragraph seems to be exempt of this.

The book "Folly of Steel" has a spacing error similar to the line-break error of the Imperial kitchen books. This error in in every stanza.

I only found one spacing error in "A Taste of Victory" it was on the third line of the third paragraph, the words "Todayat" need to have a space placed in between them.

In the scroll/parchment/book(I'm not sure what to call it) "Autumn's Welcome" there is a spacing error on line three a space needs to be placed between the words "skydescended"

In the book "Blood Beat" there are two spacing errors that I could find. The first occurs with the words "leaphorses" occuring on the last line of page 1, and "thundercries" in the first line of page 2.

That is all I have found, I shall post again when I find more errors. Do forgive me if this is the wrong thread for this.

2. There's a peak with the campfire on it's very tip. It rests there in a vey unrealistic way plus who would keep the fire there anyway ?
Apparently, twas meant as an easter egg. It could also serve as a misc quest location.
3. The Magnificent staircase (see the pic).
Another Beth-made mesh error. Something could be put over the top of it to cover it, but I don't know which would look worse, personally.

Thank you very much. The Kitchens one should have been fixed an eternity ago, but I never got around to getting the fixed version out, since it always crashed.
Stalker wrote: 3. The Magnificent staircase (see the pic).
I believe that the forward mast should also be lowered, but I'm not sure if it's possible. From what I've learned doing my ship mod over the last few days, the meshes suck.

That is not an error report.

If anyone has them, I guess they can send them, but it's a waste of time. And .77 was never available publically, but if you delete the NPCs added in .78 you have the same game.

Also, the changes weren't really major; I don't see why you want one.

im really not trying to be picky cuz it's really well done and i love the architecture so kudos to Everyone who worked on it.

**edit** also, it lags the shite out of my pc when i aproach any of the new structures (inc statue). so, i dunno why this is, maybe some optimisation needed?**

It's been reported that the statue has too many polys compared to the Beth-made ones, but nothing was mentioned about other statics. Can you confirm the fps drop (which is probably what happens) and which ones cause it?

Post by angelus6 »

the fps drops only when near the statue (understandable) and when i go anywhere near fort Stirk (especially on the roof).. for some reason, not to sure why tho as the models clean.

I spent a couple of hours looking around Stirk and found a few errors. I also had extreme FPS drops around the castle exterior. Hope someone can get the LOD sorted out.

no fast travel

Post by kilrathi avenger »

to correct the "no fast travel" just change your oblivion.ini bborderregion=0 to one or reverse. this is caused because two of your mods are doing the same thing this will correct it.

I've got this border error. It's weird because when I try to fast travel to Anvil it says that I can't go that way and it starts do load the location from which I started travel.

Any solutions?

Right now the map only works when the 'Texture Detail' is set to 'high.' Maps for the other texture settings will be available in the next release of Stirk.

strange map

Post by Morgoth Bauglir »

While walking in the dock I looked at my map and saw that my player marker was pretty far at sea while I was clearly walking on the land. This happened left of the Magnificant (but then on land).

Please don't mix error reports like that in the future. It's much easier to work with if you have the cell, location, and error all together for each error.

Guide to Stirk

Post by Morgoth Bauglir »

Error: This book, called Guide to Stirk, is at the first place worth 1000 gold. That seems a bit much with me, but that's my opinion... Second this book isn't about Stirk at all! It goes about mans with guns and telephones in London (?!) and some kind of murder thing. Nothing about Oblivion though. See the Screenshots to read the text.

(by the way I found this book in the House of Polle...)

Strik Gaurd Armor

Post by Morgoth Bauglir »

My second error report for today:

Error: I'm a collector of gaurd armors (you have fill your cellar up with something except of 600 bottles of wine :) )
So I killed a Stirk gaurd to collect one. But when I looked at it the Gaurd Armor didn't had an icon... I don't know if it's still in production but it wasn't there

The book is only a placeholder; there is a similar book that has strange text in it as well, IIRC. However, I believe the text was completed, just never added yet.

Of course, its price is strange, even for a placeholder :P...

While I have OoT-HF and v.078 of Stirk, I still see 5-6 trees on the horizon, when looking at it from Anvil (yes, I did put the LOD files in the appropriate folder).

Not all of the LOD files were added to OoT, which they should be. This is another reminder that these files need to be added to OoT. If you want El Scum, dl these yourself and extract them to the right place, and see if your error is fixed.

Cell: Fort Stirk Exterior
Location: Right outside the gate / near the statue
Problem: I haven't quite been able to tell what exactly causes it, but for some reason, looking out across the island from the fort's gate, performance takes a slideshow-inducing hit. You have to kind of jerk the view around to get it, but it's unmistakable.

Error: Can not swim back and forth from CD to Stirk
Fix: The stirk border region needs to be reset
Explination:when cells in the stirk border region were removed, it somehow messed with the boder region itself. By simply moving a node in the stirkBorder region, the CS will again set the cells within the region as 'active' and swimming will be possible once again. This might give the apperance that cells outside of the stirk are are marked as 'edited' but it seems important that cells within the border region are not cleaned out (and yes I playtested it, and by doing this the issue is fixed)

It was known about when the tapestries were added... but OoT hasn't been updated yet (for public use, at least). That and the statue causing massive lag, and the distant land, as well as the maps should be fixed with the next version. :D

all around stirk it seems after a few feet down the water the world ends, but if you go under it you can see the land again.

also it might be just me but the interiors are dark compared to the rest of tamriel

It is, however, impossible that that was caused by the correct installation of this mod. Actually, I don't think there's any way at all that TR could have caused that, even if you totally messed it up somehow.
