The only one of those that applies is the Order of the Candle.

Could the others be non-joinable orders?
Otherwise, how bad is it to move the Daggefall orders around Hammerfell a little?

Worse than making up names that are better.

I agree.

Though I kind of like the thought of using the Knights of the Scarab as a non joinable but quest related group (especially since it can relate to the tensions around Totambu).

Order of the Charkha (spinning wheel), which could introduce an indepence movement into Hammerfell (Gandhi). The military arm of a movement that wants to undermine the Empire by making their own home-spun, rather than importing garments made by the Empire from their own raw materials.

I loved the spinning wheel in Morrowind. Does OB have one?

I haven't seen one.

We should start listing wish-list items for the modelers.

I don't think we should go out of our way to think of new meshes to add to OB, we have so many essential meshes that still have to be done, and we have so few modelers.

But we could still use the spinning wheel as a symbol in the coat of arms.

I did make a churn - concept that I hope will be modeled.

This is my favourite scene from the movie 'Gandhi' by Richartd Attenborough.
Mrs Gandhi is spinning her yarn.
Mr Gandhi holds out his hands so she can wind the yarn around them, but mister Gandhi doesn't pay attention because they have a guest. The yarn slips, and mrs Gandhi has to do it over again.
She apologises to the guest:
'My husband has ten thumbs.'
To which he replies:
'Eleven!'

I dont know if this has come up since i only read the first two pages, but has anyone considered that the Knights of the Lantern might be operational in Hammerfell? I know the Knights of the Lantern are a subfaction within the Mage's guild, but with the border to High rock where we know they are operational (as a joinable faction) it'd make sense that they may be present at some level in hammerfell, even if only as a minor faction, to keep people from burning down the mage's guilds and stuff.
