My post on objects of Tamriel is not allowing me to reply, so I suppose I will continue over here.

I am alright at texturing, and alright at modeling, but I would like someone savvy with Blender to please teach me to reflection map objects. After experimenting for a long time I learned to glowmap. I have multiple Meshes I made for the plane of Oblivion if TR is interested. Plants, I will see what I can do. :)
When the dust cleared, all you could see was Wasabi walking off into the sunset.

It appears that you can't reply because you were moved out of the TR Modder usergroup because of several months of inactivity. If you would like to be reinstalled as a TR Modder, PM Haplo, and ask him nicely.

Hey I left for a 1 or two months and when I retuned you said I had to repeat the entire process to be reinstated as a TR modder.

How does that work :? :(

Well, 'I' didn't say that to you. That's why I'm defering the situation to Haplo, who will give the actual instructions on getting back in.

Besides the point as I'm back now, and that's what counts.

It's not at all whats counts!
And with an attitude like that, do you expect to be promoted?

I find it funny that after officially saying you left, you expect to have your modder status preserved. Leaving means you intend not to return, and so to reappear, means you should have to retake the Showcasing step, Wasabi simply took leave.

In the same way if you left a job, you wouldn't be allowed to walk straight back in, unlike if you had just taken leave.

Think about what you say before you start mouthing off!

well, i think that once one comes back one just has to show dedication to the project once more, making the showcase thing much easier (since your skill is alredy proven). my main problem is that you alredy said once that you are back, but you didnt realy come back (wich is why i want to see dedication). and you are the core of a major mod team... wich makes me wonder how much time you would actualy spend on TR if repromoted.

This thread is wildly off-topic, and isn't serving any real purpose.

TOYB has a showcase to prove his dedication/skills etc. Whether he will be reinstated is NOT what this thread is about.

Wasabi is asking for help with blender, and possibly wishing for his modder status reinstated. I don't know blender well enough, nor do I know about his situation well enough, to post anything of use to him (besides telling people to take their off-topicness elsewhere). I would suggest that if you wanted your status reinstated, however, that you resurrect your showcase with a recent work.

It's hard when no one really replys to the work I have done, which is actually really good and I seem to be seeing people who have done less work being promoted and of lesser quality. Also I have previously been a modder and therefore it should be easier for me to become one again. Who even is meant to be managing the showcase threads, because if it is Haplo (which I think it is) he is probably just ignoring the thread.

No one in particular is managing the showcase. Haplo is simply an Admin who has the ability to promote you.

I'm locking this, to avoid any more off-topicness, and such.

Wasabi, I suggest you post your questions in your showcase, because this thread headed south very quickly.

the showcase threads are managed by all, admins just do the promoting.

and i just replied to your thread. i think what you atribute to ignoring is simply lack of knowlege in the area by many people. if a person doesnt know about the area in question, then they are likley to just glance over it and not reply. amd then there is the whole lack of time issue.
which is actually really good and I seem to be seeing people who have done less work being promoted and of lesser quality
well let the core be the judge of that, shall we?
