Neverwinter Nights, what do you think?

Post by Harke the Apostle »

I just finished Neverwinter Nights. Did any of you play it, and if you did, what do you think of it? It's obviously not Morrowind, but some of the quests were interesting enough.
I like the Snow Globe, an artifact you can enter where dwarves and dryads are locked in a perpetual battle, the character of which you can alter by rotating the globe.
I also liked the time travel in the Creator Race Ruins.
What I didn't like, is that when I got an amulet to protect me from the endboss, my level was too low for me to wear it.

Ok... just a good game :)
If we mix the world of depth of MORROWIND, the graphics and the npc system of OBLIVION and the accesibility of NWN, the map size of DAGGERFALL we have the perphect game:)

Hehhehe

its a alright game with the BEST construction set (Tool Set) i've ever seen. It's so damn easy to mod but it's biggest downfall is the D&D rule set. It takes like an hour to make a charecter (i had to test all the classes before i could play the game properly - so like 7 hours for me) and i generally felt id have had more fun actually playing D&D. maybe i just dnt like that rule set tho.

too far based on rolling dice n' shiz

it was very short. level caps are a dumb thing. It was fun while it lasted though.

For me the game has special meaning as it was the first game I played since I returned to Holland. Still, if you feel it's a real stinkfest, I can't blame you. I liked summoning a those creatures. I'm not a D&D player but i did think the system was interesting.

wel, as i said. the game itself was fine. but seriously, try playing D&D for real once. then you'll see how it just sucks the fun out of everyhting with all the Dice Rolling and Role Playing. :D :D :D

xD. I hate games where you roll a dice to attack. That's why I love Morrowind and Oblivion 'n' shiz' as Haplo put it xD.
Ignore the extra d, please.

neverwinter nights is ok - but i don't really like it because they pay you to be the best player.

and its not even alot.

its like $5 a month.

you would spend that much money on pop, keeping yourself awake, and staring at the screen.

you could be working a real job in that time!!! ;)
