Oblivion looks really great,
The physics are awesome...

BUT

You'll need quite a good PC to run it

Morrowind doesn't have the extensive physics or graphics Oblivion has,

BUT

Even low-end machines can run it,
And is signifigant larger...

xD. Oblivion has won me over. Better Graphics, short main quest but plenty of others, great gameplay, better realism, and your character doesn't look like a peice of plasticine for once.

Yeah, I hate the Elderscrolls. Worst games ever. Glad I dont have to mod them- or anything like that.

Oblivion has a way better engine, which is countered for by a plot that has the integrity and creativity of a wet fart.
I like Morrowind as a game better, but I like modding for Oblivion more.

I can't run Oblivion on my laptop. No pixel shaders at all==render crash on startup. Even the Oblivion CS crashes on startup because it seemingly needs to use vertex shading and pixel shading.

Morrowind runs on my laptop, but it looks real fugly because there's mad flickering everywhere.

Why do I feel like spamming up the thread with the Intel vs AMD thing? Seriously though, Morrowind is an RPG, Oblivion is a The Terminator set in Tamriel.

I don't know. Does AMD make graphic chipsets? And if so, do they suck donkey balls of any kind?

What's so wrong with emos, skittles? At least emos don't go around claiming to be vampires and ah, 'elders' like goths do xD. Oblivion's better in the sense of realism, but Morrowind is a better, longer, more expansive game.

yeah, um, back to the original question...
I used to think that Morrowind was far better, but Oblivion has become my favorite lately. I really like the awesome graphics, and I've just played Morrowind too much for it to present much of a thrill. But either game is massively cool. *Glares at Sload*

Guys & gals, if this is going to evolve into a comparison between MW and O, by all means go ahead (it's been discussed already, but that doesn't matter). If you're going to compare goths to AMD, AMD wins. Period and lockdown.

Yeah, Cliffracers :x
But although the engine is not that good I really like this freedom and the story.

With Oblivion it's nearly the other way round. I did not like the mainstory, and the artifacts you could gain in Morrowind are missing a bit. But the CS4 is an awsome tool and the atmosphere in the game ist great.

Oblivion is my favorite

Feel free to make a Cliff Racer mod using the Morrowind Mesh xD. Needless to say, I doubt many people will download it.

1. No people will download it, because it would be piracy. Morrowind art assets belong to Morrowind, not to Oblivion.

2. Morrowind meshes can't be used in Oblivion. They're not the same Nif format (Morrowind uses Nif 4.0.0.8, Oblivion uses Nif 20.0.0.4, IIRC), not the same mesh format (Morrowind uses NiTriShapes, Oblivion uses NiTriStrips), not the same body parts and animation format (Morrowind uses at most three files per creature: creature.nif, Xcreature.nif, and Xcreature.kf; Oblivion uses a different nif for each body part and a different kf for each animation, all put in a creature-specific directory) and of course Morrowind meshes do not have the Havok and ragdoll information needed by Oblivion.

3.Oblivion does not have the code for flying creatures so the converted cliffracer would anyway have to float like the imp.

I was thinking about having the Raveen Hurry-skurry walk on the tips of its wings, while croaking like a frog. That would circumvent copyright issues very well.

1. The only thing that is better in OB is the graphics, else is sucks in comparrsion to MW.

2. AMD is not making graphic chipset yet but they will maybe join ATI and then we will have a new era.

3. AMD rules intel in gamesm, else Intel rules and AMD sucks.

more questions?

Of course not, because else they may incur the wrath of moderators and other people who don't like to have people talking about breaking the rules on their forum.

Meh. I was not saying anything about Intel's CPUs, but about the craptacular Intel Craptreme Craphic 2, which I loathe. Intel should stick to the CPUs and leave GPUs alone.
