Xmas Presents
What did you get?
I got some small stuff, a tablet (Some people call a sketch screen) and I also got a $200 watch (NZ dollar, so I think that is around 150 US $).
Merry Xmas.

Merry Christmas! I can't believe I did so well this year. Probably best ever.
- Cannon CanoScan LiDE 60 - Scanner (I can SCAN again! My good scanner died about a month ago.)
- Cannon Pixma iP6000D - Printer (Specifically for art prints.)
- Books on landscape, anatomy, faces, and pencil drawing techniques.
- Pack of my favorite Dollar General pencils. (Which I swear by, by the way.)
- Micron pens in varying sizes.
- "Gladiator" on DVD (Armor inspiration!)
- Gift card for DLing music.
- GIHUGIC candy-cane.
- Three quality polished hardwood back-scratchers. (With little rollie massager thingies on the other side. Neck cramps from sitting over a tablet for hours.)
-----------------------------------------------------
And I haven't even gone to visit my relatives yet! Mostly clothes there though, methinks. Still, Grandma's cheesecake can't be missed! And Nomadic, what is a timtam? Awesome that you got KOTN, too.
TOYB, do you mean something similar to a Wacom pad? That's great. Invaluable, if you aren't in love with your mouse, like I am.
........ Still holding out for that Nissan 350z.

It's a Genius tablet, not a Wacom Tablet (Which is way out of my price range). And I haven't even gone to visit my relatives yet! Mostly clothes there though, methinks. Still, Grandma's cheesecake can't be missed! And Nomadic, what is a timtam? Awesome that you got KOTN, too.

Also a Timtam is like several layers of wafer, covered in caramel, and then covered in milk chocolate. It's a biscuit. Something I haven't been able to eatfor some time (I'm vegan).

TimTams are high quality and well-known chocolate biscuits in Australia. But they are only sold in Australia so when foreigners come here and try them they get a little obsessed - and then when they go back they can't buy themMorgoth wrote:And Nomadic, what is a timtam? Yeah it's sweet I got KOTN. But Oblivion doesn't run on my computer. I think I'll be sticking with only modding for Morrowind for a good while until I get my PC up to scratch.

From my mom, I got a shitload of really expensive candy from Swiss Colony (about $135 worth), and she's going to buy me a new TV for my "cave." (I use our family room as my gaming area. It is set lower than the rest of the house, and I keep it really dark down here, to give it the "I'm living in my mother's basement" feeling. That's why she calls it my "cave" .)
My dad bought me Gothic III and KOTN, along with meats and cheeses from Swiss Colony.
My mom was going to buy Gothic III and KOTN for me, instead of my dad buying it, but she couldn't find those two around here. My dad refuses to let her pay him for them, so he can take credit for them. My mom feels bad now . It was her that told him to look for the games, since she couldn't find them, but she didn't know that he was going to take credit for them as well .

You know, we could use your flawless interior-making skills on Oblivion.Yeah it's sweet I got KOTN. But Oblivion doesn't run on my computer. I think I'll be sticking with only modding for Morrowind for a good while until I get my PC up to scratch.

I think I beat you: A single chocolate snowman, and two of my favourite fruit.Lady Nerevar wrote:you all are spoiled brats with all of your expensive gifts
The main part was the meal though, a plate full of sweets for everyone with a single orange to slightly balance it out, and two more (general) plates full of sweets incase someone's stock ran out.

That's a lot of stuff. I don't even think I would want all that.Sky Captain wrote:-Nintendo Wii and all games
-PS3 and all games
-Xbox 360 and all games
-New Pc
-500 dollars
-A can of peach halves
Well, I received
-some shirts
-new wallet
-NBA 2K7
-Flight Simulator X -- Woo hoo!
-New paintball barrel -- Woo hoo again!
-and more shirts
I couldn't decide what I wanted this year, so my grandma, aunt, and mom all got me a couple of shirts, so I think I good on those for a long while... and FSX is pretty sweet, except for the fact that it takes about 30 minutes to load one flight on my computer...
