We have a few French modders already -- though I feel like I'm the only one still somewhat active, haven't seen Liliath in a while and Aubustou's now too taken by his admin job at Wiwiland.

If you want to translate the Oblivion stuff, download the latest OoT package and Stirk demo, and start working! We have countless thousands of books. I don't have the time to translate them myself, but if you post your translations, I can proofread them.

What about voice acting? Stirk doesnt have it yet, but there will be fully-voiced dialogue.

Just think of one of those old japanese movies where the subtitles and the words spoken don't match how the mouth is moving.

As far as Oblivion goes, lip synching is based on the sound, so people keep their mouth shut when silent MP3s are playing.

And sounds that the lipsynch engine doesn't recognize (like laughter or cough) are voiced by closed lips, too...
