It's the newest version of FPS optimiser, and it will allow all of TR to be visible in the World Map. I'm not saying that we should make this a re-requisite, but it's defintiely something we should keep in mind.

Behold, the angel of the LORD appeared unto them in a dream, saying, Mod-users, thou sons of Men, fear not to take unto thee TR thy mod: for that which is hidden off map is of the uber sweetness. And PES shall bring forth a mod, and thou shalt call its name FPS OPTIMISER: for it shall save his people from getting lost*. Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was wished of the devs by the modders, saying, Behold, the virgins shall have full maps, and shall bring forth more positive feedback, and they shall call its name Telvannis, which being interpreted is, Telvanni Land.

I had a strange bug where the cursor position and all the yellow squares were shifted far to the east, so that Bethesda's Ebonheart squares were somewhere near Necrom and so on.
So, the thing is still perfectible. I wonder if the grayness limitation will be fixed in the future.
Still, despite these things, I stand by my previous statement:

Of coarse I remember THAT... ^^Gez wrote:Many people confirmed it was.Radnurag wrote: notices a potenial problem
Is it compatible with MGE?!
I can't tell myself, my stupid laptop (remember my post you quoted in your sig?) can't run MGE, or at least it can't run MGE's IVD so I haven't bothered installing it.
I simply couldn't stop laughing!
(btw, if the IVD doesn't work, try to lower the settings...)
Gez: "Intel's graphic chipsets suck big hairy sweaty manged donkey balls. Really, they are teh ultimate suck."
Useless. It's not a question of setting or performances, but a question of material. I know IVD needs pixel shaders (v1.4 IIRC) and vertex shaders (v1.0). Oblivion needs pixel and vertex shaders v1.0 (though you'll need OldBlivion to make it work with just that, as Oblivion.exe will want pixel shaders v2.0).Radnurag wrote:(btw, if the IVD doesn't work, try to lower the settings...)
Intel's graphic chipsets simply don't support any kind of shaders. If I ran IVD on my laptop, it would just result in error messages and crashes. (Oh, and I tried Oblivion. Crashes on startup, with a message about it being unable to create renders or something like that.)
In fact, I could as well try to run MGE-IVD on a CPC6128. I would have the same amount of success.
