Hey, guys, I've been thinking an article on wikipedia about us would be great. I was planning on writing it, as there was a short one that appears to be gone now. Here was the layout I was thinking:
-The Project
[Describe here the objectives of the project]
-The Positions
[Describe stuff here like moderator, admin, tr modder, reviewer, etc.
-The Process
[Describe here how we do things, with claims and such.]
-The Team
List here the team members, like on the website.
-The Standards
List here our Lore standards and such.
-Joining
explain here how a person would join.
--The Showcase
explain here how the showcase works.
-External Links
Link to our website, mirrors where they can download our mods, etc.
So, whatcha think, guys? I would of course welcome any ideas of what to add.

BTW, if you guys approve of this, I'm assuming that I have permissions to use copyrighted stuff like maps, pictures, etc.

I'm not really in an authorative position, but still, the answer is no. There has been such an article before and it's been removed:
http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Special:Log/delete&page=Tamriel_Rebuilt
So it doesn't really matter if there was a positive response in TR for a wikipedia article. It's simply against their policies and as such would simply be deleted again.
A much better idea for promoting TR would be to do it from inside the TES community: adding TR to affiliates lists, promoting new work in appropriate forums and so on. I think that is something which should definitely be done.

There are several mod wikis out there.
Wikipedia doesn't need to be cluttered with articles on every modding project out there (even if we're 100% awesome), and Tamriel Rebuilt doesn't need to be on Wikipedia.
If you want to create a wiki page for Wikipedia, I'd look toward specialized wikis. Like the UESP, the Oblivion Mod Wiki, or ModDB (not sure this one has a wiki part).

I wrote a stub that I hoped would be allowed to stay. Internet communities get it harder than say, music albums, but its for good reason, I think.
I'm also peeved at all the people who thought they could somehow get away with detailed information on our website and its history or whatever. Believe it or not, we are not The Center Of The Universe.

Aight, no wikipedia article. I started making one before I saw Zephyr's post, so sorry. Oh well, no worries, right? I'll just delete it soon, or wait for someone else to delete it.
