Blackbird made the old version of this, so he gets first rights if he wants it.

Anything north of the pink line should be Ascadian Isles. Blue line is a river that is being added. The purple dotted lines represent the roads. The image of these roads above is just a basic idea though, and you need to make them more interesting. However, it's important that they are at the same points when they cross over into other claims.
Claimer must draw a proposal for the roads in their claim over the image linked above before they will be granted it.

Has that been so long, since I posted last time? Ok, here it goes...
EDIT:
Picture 1: Southern part of the claim contains 'Valley of the kings' with many huge tomb entrances. There might be problems with the claim to the south as it was shown as merged in claims browser and yet missing in recent version of map 4. Moreover this claim has been made with no respect to height and architecture map.
However I placed there cliffs to get over the height and texture difference and will see what to do next.
Picture 2: North of the claim contains monastery, iron mine and possibly one smaller dwemer ruin. Most of it will be covered with dense vegetation and wilderness though.
Feedback please, now I am still willing to makeover some parts dramatically but if I continue to work on this as it is later I will rather give the whole claim up then redoing it.

THEO
It's a good idea to visit the others claims. I even have discover a meshe i didn't new, the open grotto in the canyon.
What have been detailed is perfect. Only the big steps of the road are not in the same axe, and the rear wall behind is to close from the temple. Nothing.
What about the textures of the temple?
I arrived in the canyon at night, the dead trees, then the village with surnatural lights was just great, i like the concept.
What's your idea for the canyon? Several little places or a continues inhabited place?
Close to Karthor Dale (one of my favorit city), like it is, it's a place i will visit oftently.

At the bottom right of the (first) pic, there's a Redoran building and what looks to be two shacks, though I could be wrong. Would this be the iron mine, or a plantation? Anyway, the claim looks nice.

Because your claim is full of places (temple, tombs, manor, Dwemer ruins) the best is to make a sparse forest. Why not a river runing from the southern cliff to the northern lake?
Anyway, i vote for a natural area.
If i'm not wrong, i suppose that the temple is a pilgrimage center? You could also add a little slum living around the trade to the pilgrims.
And, thanks Theo, that's after visiting your claim that i did the wooden village of map6.
I really love the tombs area, faeric.
About the water meshes, it's OK if it's not too deep, a bit like in a marshe. Aware me if i miss something, because i used them a lot on map6.

This is quite actual version as I work on 2-19 right now. But I can upload even newer in few days. I have changed almost nothing on the border with your claim. There is still the canyon as before and it will remain there until final version.
I am more worried about the southern claim. When I downloaded map 4, there was another claim merged that is this of nomadic. Now my level of terrain is substantially higher then his, due to the canyon in behind, but I believe this could be fixed by few cliffs and rocks. However my valley will not fit very well into the terrain.
It will look like as if created by some volcanic activity. I will have to alter it slightly so that it looked more natural.

Well I was about to submit, but there's problems. It's going to be quite difficult to match borders unless I redo the entire eastern row of cells. Perhaps the change is so abrupt I might have to make the entire eastern river cliffs.
This is something I'm willing to do, but I want your opinion first.

That is the kind of problem I have with Nomadic's claim. It is my fault as I shouldn't have placed this canyon on the edge of both claims.
However the fact that I didn't match with Nomadic properly is caused by me using old version of map 4 where there was totally different claim merged.
Concerning you, Swiftoak, I believe I told you several times that I will use GL and that the terrain will be high and asked you to downolad my file for you to do matching, so now I am really surprised that you are surprised.
Puting cliffs everywhere as Cleverclothe suggests is one possible solution, but having a six cells long and very thin cliff... I dunno. I am still willing to redo the cells and move them a bit northeast and match your claims on my side. This will need some terrain alteration, but the result will be worth it. I shall upload the pictures now...

In your most recent file I noticed that you haven't yet set the landheights for the cells adjoining 4-17. So I just tried to make them relatively similar to the stuff 2 cells over for now. If you get around to laying out the land heights soon, before I start working on those cells be sure to tell me so I can better match the borders.
No worries, Map 2 Detailing takes precedence. Besides, your cool ideas generally turn out to be pretty awesome when I check them out ingame

I made a lot of progress today. This claim is big enough so that I could realize my ideas here and create some epic landscape. I just hope I will not overkill this area with them, but so far I try to watch myself. 30 cells is 30 cells.
Plan of the monastery of St. Felms:
1 - Temple.
2 - Main building.
Basement: Food storage.
Ground floor: Refectory and kitchen.
Tower: Combat grounds.
3 - Pilgrim site. Shrine of St. Felms. Tower: Library
4 - Pilgrim hostel with little oratory and chapel.
5 - House of the gardener and storage of gardening tools.
6 - Abbons house. Tower: his office.
7 - Laboratory
8 - Entrance to the crypts of previous monks.
9 - Dormitory.
10 - Temple servants accommodation.
11 - Storage tower.
