Truth is- that will probably be the end. Most of the die hard MWers are just trying to live up to the promise: MW will be finnished on the TESIII engine.

Post by necridlycan »

you know what would be cool is if you guys had a poll on which province to do next...of course i'm talking about after hammerfell is done. i would vote for High Rock or Valenwood.

Lets just finish what we have to finish now, and then it's gonna be the time to decide what's next.
PoHa: how can we best this trio of trouble? who will save us from this menace of sub-par models? what will we do?
PoHa: I know! we'll shoot an Aro at them
Aro: you have only one Aro missile!
PoHa: yes, but its heat seeking and quite possibly indestructible

High Rock and Valenwood are being made somewhere else.

scroll down to each respective province: http://www.silgrad.com/wbb2/index.php

we will most likly be only doing hammerfell on the TES4 because by that time TES5 will be out. one province per engine is perfectly resonable, especialy since we strive for quality over quantity. should tes5 not come with a CS, or some other factor that would force us to continue on the TES4 enjine, then we will do another province. my gues is that it will be skyrim, since it was the runner up in the last election. but since thats not gona happen, you might as well ignore my last few sentences.

Umm, maps 1-6 combined are pretty big, you know.

I happen to enjoy it :p

The simple fact is that we have no plans for what do do when map6 is finished. The same as we have no plans for what to do when Hammerfell is finished.
We'll cross those bridges when we get to them.

I too happen to enjoy working on this, and probably will continue to work on any other projects that TR will rebuild.

Do you think Morrowind will be finished in time for his wedding?

by that time TES5 will be out.
I'm not entirely sure about that. I hear it may be quite quite quite a few years till that happens, as Bethesda is currently working on Fallout 3. And then they have to make all of TES V. I'm not saying for sure that we will be done before that, but with two games in line, I think we may very well have a significant jump start on Bethesda. I don't know; i just think we might get done with Hammerfell before TES V comes out.

I think we got about three years. It took Bethesda from 02 until 06 to get Oblivion on the shelves and we've already used up one year.
