Good work as always Butch.

I can't wait till you get to the point where we can put these in-game.

Hmmm... comparing the Vaenima daedra to the original concept, while the body and such is good, the club hands and addition of the head are not in the concept. When you make a model, be sure to remain faithful to the source.

Otherwise, good work!

subdivision level 5 it have 100k polys but with the zmaper plugin i can make lowpoly models look very high poly.

Heres a 5000 poly mesh with the normal map apllied.

Ps: Whats the maximum polys for a creature?

5000 are excellent for a creature of this size iirc. Very realistic muscles butcher.

It is excellent, good job Butch3r. and the muscles are fantastic. I love how you have used humanlike anatomy for the centaurs legs. But I have one critique. I think id you look at the normal concept... part of the agility of the centaur is down to it's rather scrawny, athletic body. Not ripped muscles. But it isn't a problem. It looks awesome still.

From the concept by Lutemoth, scrawny isn't right, nor (I think) agile. Rather the opposite.

The model looks great, by the way. I hope you won't have too much trouble with the head. :D

Gnomey, do you think my use of the word scrawny was too harsh? Becuase you can't deny his athletic physique. And the concept clearly shows he is not ripped. He has a modified forearm, which may give you that impression, but it is a very agile thin creature. Surely undeniable? I did not bring this up again because I feel it's that important to change (although the closer to the imaginative concept the better), I just felt what Gnomey had said was unjustified and untrue.

Oh, never mind. I thought you were talking about the centaur in general, not just the upper body. I actually think that the horse half could be bulkier and, like you said, the upper body's muscles could be toned down a bit, but that's just me being nit picky. :P
