I'm working on one of the Lighthouse concepts.
I'll have a render once it's more compleleted.
The thing is I'm stuck.
Blender is refusing to give me a proper diference bolean!
Is there anyone with Blender that can help?
I have a floor that needs a stairway going down.
this stair must cut into the platform.
It seemed simple, Make platform, make stair, subtract stair from platform, platform from stair, join the too as a single obgect.
But Blender gives me distorted blobs and random face splits instead of a clean cut. It's frustrating.

My model is really incomplete. Have at it, though i suggest really beveling those edges on the platforms and pillars. OB models are high poly, and this thing is only going to be used once.Fairwater had asked me to model it recently, however I was unable to do it for him.
Absolutely. There will be Windows and such added as weel. i was concerned about the doors and windows not fitting with the rest of Rihad, but in the end all the doors are arched.
Inside will be three levels, the ground floor, the mid and the top floor with access to the upper deck.
I'll be happy to finish this model, I can use the MC Int concept for the Lighthouse Int.

Update from the other day. I worked on the railings and he three columns. I added windows, two on at Mid level and four just beneath the Upper deck.

Don't be fooled by the scale, the windows will be extremely tall. The Door size would just a bit larger then the thingies on the rails. The arch things. I choped the whole tower down and it stil is really tall. But most of the height comes from the bottom section. Rememeber this rests on a base wich rests on a second biger base, I assume it the second base juts into the sea?
Anyway, I have a way of detailing the supports for the Decks, Also the weird frame will get some attention on the mid deck.
Another side note, Lanterns hang from the those arch things both above and below. Also, the concept calls for lanterns to be hung on the three columns. I want to tdo a render with light sources from each spot and see what it looks like.

Looks kinda futuristic to me, don't you think? But all in all, looks like good and nice mesh

Menotex we actually have a concept for the lighthouse.... i will send it over to you and you can check it out and might want to try it if you want! It actually looks like yours abit, but i would just change the Railing i got to say i am not to fond of it!
