I'll fill you in; Pound suggested that we discuss all things Raga in detail, I became an overreacting asshole and then saw the point of the supporters of Raga style, admitted that inner Hammerfell has to be alien and begun experimenting on Raga architecture, basing my work on Lutey's armor. Other than that, things are still on a very theoryticall level.Fairwater wrote:ok well being away i never got to read this..... so what is the stance on things are already made......??
At which point you have the description that I talked about. So what if you need to prototype, or sketch, or form a congressional committee. Eventually you get to a base that can be built from.Jale wrote:Because it's hard to work to a proscriptive brief. It's far easier to do a few concepts, look at which is best,...
I don't see how it can be folly when we are doing it right now and succeeding. The only difference is the process is going on at an individual level rather than a community level. We have proved that this can work, so why don't we do it?Jale wrote:Setting out to make a set with some random characteristics would be folly, as those elements might not work together. It's like setting out to make a piece of music that's a jazz-funk fusion with elements of latin music: you will fail or produce something horrible.
I'm truly biting my lip that I hadn't seen these until now, Scumbago. This set is absotively marvellous! It houses a wonderful reminder to the Raga obsession with continuous waves, curves, and most importantly, circles. As everyone knows, tides, scales, and infinite circles all come together in the Raga art. Self-eating worldskins, the waves in turn being the snakeskin backside upon which the Yoku and their saints rode and broke upon the shore in torrential fury.El Scumbago wrote:
The OoT claims forum is the problem. It has hidden away our most important threads, and disrupted the model/concept art work. That department interests me the most, but i've still missed tons of updates... for a while i thought work had stopped entirely, but as it turned out I just never saw the threads.Damn me, does nobody check the threads that have been updated since his last visit? Here you go guys.
