The traditional eye markings idea (be it make up or tattoo) works for me - Infact that's much better, a way to add a little more cultural variation into the dres dunmer when compared to others.

It kind of makes them look like they have bug eyes - maybe that's the relevance of it.

Well, dark elves with eye-liner as someone suggested may look cool too. Sort of a goth fun dunmer or something.

I prefer the way they are shown in the CA with the larger blacked out area but some with a little less might look good too.

Totally late, and possibly necromancing (I believe Nalin has a new CA thread now) but is there anyway we could get those awesome statues and the Dres armour from the front page in-game? I'm not so keen on the 'Telvanni'(?) statue (banana-man), but the others are awesome!

If there's any way we could get those in (especially dual-weilding Redoran *drools*), I would love it!

We also need to get Jellew's trioliths and 'old statues updated' stuff in, as well.

That would be an OoT matter and up to Haplo's judgement. The Moratorium still stands iirc, but I guess that when we get to detailed detailing of map2, it may be lifted.

Guess what - amazingly - I found it!

I'll work some more on the Dres slave hunter armour and get it finished and I'll post it when It's ready.

As for the Redoran statue; it was finished before it was lost so now it's found again it's just waiting to have the textures converted to .dds instead of .bmp and then I'll upload it.

Yay!! :D Very glad it didn't get lost, that screenshot of yours, of the Dres slave hunter in the Black Marsh jungle really made me fall in love with it! ... Err, the jungle as well, but in this case, I meant the armour! ;)

Heh, first the Redoran Hero armour, then the Necrom Ordinator armour, and now this ... you sure you're not the real Secret Master of the Armourer skill?

As for the Redoran statue; it was finished before it was lost so now it's found again it's just waiting to have the textures converted to .dds instead of .bmp and then I'll upload it.

Lurk? Me? ... Heh, at the same time more than I want, and less than I would like to!

?(

Maybe an elaboration would be in order: I'd prefer to post more actively, but I don't even manage to at least read as much as I would like to. :( Ah well, RL in all it's glory ...

And what can I say? The armours are simply great - and wonderfully dunmer; love that! :D

Why yes there is. After half a year of leaving it alone and half done on a lost (but now found) cd - I've tweaked a few textures and finished some more pauldrons (three different types). I'd like take these further.

This armour is intended as slave hunting armour

You'll need to point the textures right in Nifskope - i was too lazy to do it myself.

On another note - further to my (never ending and very slowly executed) mod to introduce more of the concepts form 'The Art Of Morrowind' - Here's some Scamps - or a few screens of one more precisely...

I made a little nifskope movie of him too - it's here;

Hey, I was just checking your showcase, and I was wondering what happened to your statues. They look really great, and some could certainly (sparingly) be used in Map 3 (the Indoril one) and the others where appropriate (I have no idea.)

If the statues were used then they'd have to be used very sparingly as vanilla morrowind didn't really end up with many statues. These statues in particular are based on how the ghostgate was conceptualized in the art of morrowind.

woah, seriously nice work. i love your portrait series, especially vehk. all your art has a very MW-concept art vibe, and is wonderfully atmospheric.

do you mind if i steal the vehk for my avatar over at TIL?

...Maybe i should bundle up all the concept inspired creations into one mod? Next time i play through morrowind It's going to be with a lot of mods and enhancements - It's going to BE morrowind...well, guess I'll be waiting a while for that(for all the maps) but that gives me plenty of time to work on creating (recreating?) the other concepts.

I will get back to that one of these days but no progress on it as I'd figured I'd lost it all - then forgotten all about it. Still have the WIP. I wouldn't hold your breath though.
