Vacation

Post by Morden »

I'm taking a spur of the moment vacation. I booked some time off work and I found a cheap flight to London, England. Wish me luck! I'll see you online when I get back.

PS. I'm staying at the YHA Hostel in Earl's Court if anyone want to stalk me. :P

no serious, I wish I could go to London, but I'm far too busy. Have a lot of fun there, London is great.

Do carry your wallet underneath your clothes. A closable inside pocket of a jacket will do nicely. IMHO London is a cestpool of depraved criminality, and worse yet, unbridled overpricing.
I lived there for a year. (When I was five).

Worth seeing:

Victoria and Albert Museum
Natural History Museum
Buckingham Palace
Hampton Court
Saint Paul's (and that ship across the river from it).

Most importantly, take a look at how people live in the U of K (pronounced "Yuck!"), and return to Canada contentedly.

but remember:

London = run by the Thieves Guild

Hmm... well, it is best to be careful, although I cant say I've gotten too bad a vibe from the center of London. The TATE is well worth seeing too.

The UK isn't all that bad, although like Harke I'm a tad biased :P

Would love to come down and see you Morden, but London is rather expensive to get to, and it doesn't help that my work has recently taken off again :/
P.S. Please don't make handbags, wallets, belts or shoes out of Orix

I think Pound lives in London's suberbs, although I'm not sure. Enjoy your vacation Morden!

Having just spent all day at a conference in Whitehall, I can recommend it wholeheartedly. Bring an umbrella.
