Music composer
Hi, I stumbled on your project on moddb.com. I have a strong desire to join a promising project, suprisingly though it's very hard to find one. I've got one project going currently but it's pretty long-term and not very demanding so I could definitely fit another in. I notice you already have at least one composer, so I'm not sure if you need another.
If you're interested though you can check out my website. I can write in a variety of styles (not sure what particularly you're looking for).

I should add that sound design is something that intrigues me, though I have absolutely no experience with it. I'd be willing to give it a shot though, just for the learning experience if nothing else.

Nice stuff, sir- well produced. What sort of software do you use? Obviously- we are interested more in the orchestral soundtrack style tracks here more than the electronica (though I personally enjoyed it). I'm interested in having you on board- though it's going to be an interesting to try to get a unified sound out of the team- since your sound is quite a bit different. But I think you can handle it.
If you'd like to become a modder, please start on a piece for TR- post some early drafts so we can discuss it. As you may know- Hammerfell music is intended to have a middle eastern feel to it (which you seem to have an affinity for.) But we still wouldn't mind some general music for the MW side of the project.
As for sound production: it's something I only know a little about. Gesshoku is our resident sound engineer- but I haven't seen him in a while. If you are interested you can post some SFX samples as well.

NEW MEMBERS: I'm not with TR anymore, so please stop PMing me. Just post your sample work in the showcase.

You're work is excellent! What program(s) do you use utilize, and do you own any sample packs like GPO or something?
EDIT - I'd also like to point out that each link to the MP3 and the streaming file are all flip-flopped. All the stream links lead to the download for the MP3, and all the MP3 links lead to the streaming file.

Hello!
I am a composer here,
one out of four;
welcome to TR,
we open our door.
Your music is good,
from what Macar said;
but I can't download,
so I scream in bed:
Why, why,
why don't I fly;
I wish Vista worked
I cry, I cry
So that is my story,
I wish you good luck;
you'll become one of us,
if your piece doesn't suck.

So... Jedak may be a composer, but I think he should stay away from the songwriting side of things...
Welcome to TR! I'm another one of the composers (quite a new one too) I'll check out your stuff sometime soon... I don't have much time at the moment, but from what the others are saying you're sounding good!

@ Macar - I do orchestral stuff as well. These days most of my orchestral work is for the project I'm in and doesn't make it on my page. I'll try to upload a couple of recent pieces tomorrow.
@ Haplo - err, really? The mp3 links lead to the mp3 files, and the stream links lead to .m3u files...
As for equipment, I use Sonar 6 Producer Edition along with EWQL Gold, Symphonic Choirs, Stormdrum, SampleTank 2, and a load of other plugins.

Maybe my definitions are wrong?
At any rate, the .mp3 link takes me to the streaming file in the browser, and the .m3u link asks me if I want to open or save as.
EDIT - And while having played the games is a big bonus, it's not required, so don't worry about that

Jeremy Soule hadn't played the games either when he created the original soundtracks and none of us has played Hammerfell, so it shouldn't be a problem. You can hear some samples of how the original games sounded at www.directsong.com (->Soundtracks -> TES III & IV). There's also lots of gameplay videos on youtube where you can hear longer samples of the music and see what they look like, just to get the feel of it. Also, don't forget to read the threads and listen to the music in our Sound&Music forum to find out what we are aiming for.
Listened to a couple of your tracks, great work! "Mourning Star" actually sounds very TES, could have been straight from Oblivion.

I like this one. It sounds as though it might suit us, the kind of orchestral thing that we generally go for as fits with the... time period sort of thing. If MW had a time basis in the real world. Sort of medieval style. I'll stop talking now.
