Nice :)

What I find intereting is your use of the whole body in the second last one. If my memory doesn't play tricks on me then I don't remember raga/redguard styles going beond one body part.

What is the droopy stuff off the sides of the head on the last one?

I'm not sure whether I understood you correctly, but a Raga picture showing the full body is nothing new as far as I can see...

(Well, that picture might not be the best example, due to the missing arms, but there are a lot more on the first page.)

Hurrah! For those not in the know, My loverly lady Jocelyn has taken some satakal designs for a pottery project in one of her classes! To quote, pit-fired red terra sigillata on white clay.

Ta-daah'ses

The images aren't exactly texture-worthy (until I can find a better, sharper camera), but serve as a good reference.

Tut, tut, tut! If you walk away, you won't be able to see the spare unscanned doodles I found!

That last one is an extension of #'s idea, to which I'm quite infatuated with. It's a unique scale-up of giant insects mixed together in which it changed the form of it's exoskeleton to suit a lack of atmospheric oxygen. Who knows? he may even have a chambered heart and lungs! Also, It reminds me of a whiptail scorpion, which is quite rad.

Nice that the two of you get to "blend" your interests :) The pattern looks nice, simple and Raga to me - With better quality photographs we'd have a perfect texture there.

I've been daydreaming about this armour for a few days now;

i dont think anyone has done it. if youre gona model armor, that set is OK, but i think something Forbear would be more fitting (though most of the time its up in the air as to what faction each armor belongs).

I'm trying my hand again at modding armour for OB after a year of leaving it alone - So yeah - figured I may aswell try with something that could end up useful instead of something more random and less useful to the mod.

Could you point me towards the Forebear concepts just to clear up what look we're going for.

P.S. The Hircine pic is screaming out to be coloured - someone please - silence it!! :D

Woah! I completely missed the pot by your lovely lady. i wuv it! to take better pictures, i suggest you get your butt outside on a nice sunny day and set the sensitivity of your camera to lowest (something like 50).that will get rid of the extra colored pixels. also make sure to turn on macro when taking pictures that close up, it will greatly increase sharpness.

the drawings are nice too of course :)

about the armor Nalin... I don't quite know :P i think the Kogotong armor is pretty high priority even though its crown (its a faction, so its good to get it out of the way). The Dura Ungai armor is even higher priority since its both forebear and faction.

Gah! Stupid TR forum and it's lack of multi-quoting -_-

@Pottery;
Lovely! Just don't break it in an attempt to earn money, health and energy *ESF ninja emoticon here*

@Hircine and other images unscanned untill now;
Ooooh, Hircine...The second image looked like a Redoran guard before I viewed it full size...

@Dram and assasins;
Okay, why does Dram remind me of a Night Elven rogue? and why does the assasin one make me think of Ninja Turtles?

But I wasn't even born during the eighties :P Though it seems like I am, with obsessions with such things as Transformers and the like.

I find that statuette kinda disturbing...I'm guessing Vehk did some "sparring" with that...Thing at some point? :p

I love the more angular rendition of the scorpion Lute. I really feel I should occasionally draw more of your stuff, when i feel i want to, but i generally try to put it off trying to think of something. It's just so damn fun and interesting to recreate the creation.

Also, with Morwha, I was drawing her the other day. And I just can't get her feel right. You seem to have got it, I was just wondering, when it was suggested she was fat.. I might just try something else. I don't know, I want it to be obvious she is a child bearer and sign of new life. This seems lovely and the face i really couldn't nab, and you obviously have that in one tick, it's perfect, it IS Morwha's mask.

hm, random note on morwha... can we do a sexy one? to portray her beauty aspect, not just the fertility. Me thinks she is the perfect patron godes for the concubines of Rihad (though that theory was never officialy accepted or anything).

i supose i need to clerify and say modern sex appeal. make the boobs less... saggy... the figure thiner (but still curvy).

[edits]i think some of the earlier sketches of her (all but mine of wich i cant seem to locate) showed her more sexy...

There's certainly room for other sex-gods, in the Satakal spectrum, as a reminder. If Morwha is a chief fertility god, than perhaps she herself would provide some teachings for other aspiring gods-of? Persian-style minor goddesses that patron young women and concubines?

the last one :) i supose we can sertainly do another god only for sexual attraction... i supose it might be just me, but the redugards in my mind are very sexualised. the ornateness of the armor and clothes is just something thats very attractive in my book.

I am goign to be quite opinionated and say none of them follow suit, but contrary to my opinions I agree, surely part of fertility is sex appeal. But not modern sex appeal.

I might have a go

lutemoth , is it ok to use your concepts for the yukoda (spelling) to do some architecture , temples , and other such stuff !

I want to try and do a concept for some sort of yukoda callendar , outside temple kind of thing that uses the sun and a central stone that the sun hits and points to an individual statue to tell which month it is !

Lutemoth i love that last colouring its excellent , that whole design is perfect , if i was in that area id be wearing that gear ! looks well cool , i especially love the glove and shoe designs , the knee and shin gaurds are well designed , what would they be made of , netch leather or some other light material !

the sack cloth look is brilliant though , your colouring is just really great excellent use of shadow , the breast plate is nice.

all in all top quality , get it modelled someone please !

It have come to my attention that Lutemoth have drawn something that is not Elder Scrolls related, I suggest we throw him into Quagmire as punishment for this insolence. (that was a joke for those of you unable to understand such things)

beg to differ. That coloring has little shadowing, I'd just call it contrasting, and really it would ahve been impossible to do it better in ANY way. Texture use is beuaitful. Sooner Beth come to their senses and hire you as concept artist ratehr than these pathetic mainstream ones, the sooner the series can get back on track. But for now the developers will ahve to learn from the humble mod group, althoguh I sound less humble.
