double posting is not needed just to show us 3 dots. (maybe you lack some patience, but bumping in such a short time is realy, realy bad.) And about the screenshots, you have to post the files themselves, so that some people here can have a look at them: Screens are not sufficient to show how you made it, and a few screens from above doesnt give people a chance to see what your skills are at all. (Im not a cs guy, so I cant review the stuff you got anyway, but people can only see how you mod by having a look at the files)

EDIT: the images didnt load the first time, so I only saw the 3 dots. In this case use the edit button next time.

as you already know you can upload files at the bottom of the posting a reply page. Simply go to your MW data files folder and select the file.

Please be patient - modders do have things to do and sometimes it can take a while to review a showcase.

sorry for the wait, here are my pointers

-mod is WAY dirty. use TESAME (avaliable on the utilies part of our site) to clear out everything that is not part of your mod.
-the follow script gave me loading error upon start up

because of the dirtieness of this mod i have NO idea what is made or modified by you. also, there are tons of cells that appear to be made by you so i have no idea what to review. if you want to get a review for me you need to clean this and tell me specificaly what cells to review (1 for int and 1 or so for ext). as it curently stands i can do nothing with this file.

taking a look at your interiors i noticed a lot of what i suspect to be cookie cutting (taking a beth interior and using it as your own with minor or no modification). such interiors are NOT acceptable in TR.

taking a quick look at the AABarbarians Wilige exterior... lets just say it needs ALOT of work. the landscaping is simply horrible (im not going to try and be nice here). you need to make it rise naturaly out of the water, and smoothe it to look natural. curently it is very obvious that you just used the flaten land tool to raise land from beneath. you also need to use vertex shading below objects and around texture seams.

really... i think you should try doing a small interior and exterior specificaly for this showcase. your submited work requires tons of revisions to come close to our standards, and it would probably be simpler for you to just make something anew.

You're plugin of mahmud isle is dirty. Remove everything that isn't necessary with the program TESAME or via open files and select details. Anexample is flora_bc_tree. Don't press on save when you are placing an item for example or don't look at other area's as you might changing something by accident. You can open a second CS to look at other cells. Don't remove textures.
exterior: chitin cuirass on the table is bleeding.
chitn helm is also bleeding.
shockbote mace is also bleeding. Did you check/mark the ingnore normal resistance button? If you're modding for TR, please give it a rename when you're changing stats from an item.
The boat is bleeding a little bit too much.
ADD vertex shading! by using vertex colors in the heightmap changing menu. Use a grey color. Use it for every rock, tree, plant? and building.
FLora bc tree1 should probably be lowered.
Adding rocks might be a good idea also. Teh only rock I see is a Nord rock.
The borders of the island are somewhat steep and the island is too flat also.

Interior: the interior is nice. Although I think the Aldi is a NPC of morrowind (and a supermarket name) and that you cookie cuttered. Aldi's shack looks almost the same as your shack.
light com cande 06 is a little bit bleeding. I don't know if a com light or this light is ok in a dunmer shack. This is one of the few items that don't have an ownership.
I don't know if you or bethesda made this interior, but I see a lot bleeders.
Ok bethesda did it. Looks like they have to hire trignar or the viking or so. Even my interiors are of better quality.

i have one thing to say before your curent showcase even gets a review. DO NOT USE BETHESDA STUFF AT ALL!!! no copieng of the interior shell or statics or detail or anything. it needs to be all your original work.

okay, if us modders aren't supposed to use any Beth stuff, does that mean you expect everyone to be 3d modellers? If that is your standard, than no wonder stirk is so glitchy.
I thought you guys were looking to see how well things were put together. If we can't use and of the models from Bethesda, than that is seriously wack. This is a showcase to get involved as a modder. It seems to me then that everyone must be able to model, script, and be an artist too. I thought that people were chosen to fill certain posts. I didn't know that we had to fill every post. No wonder everyone sounds like their overworked. I am good at putting things together, and have a good eye for detail. I am not a good 3d modeller.
I think for a showcase for entry as a team member, you should look beyond a person's ability to model, or even to put together a CS mod. There is so much work to do, in many areas, that you should be looking for any help you can get, even if all that team member does is test your work for errors.
Please, be more considerate. Rome wasn't built just by the masons. It was built by all kinds of people.

YEP. I'm double posting. What I got out of this was that maybe you should offer this guy work as a screenshotter. These are great dynamic views of some interesting terrain. I think that with someone to do screenshots, you could prove to people that things are actually getting done. Beyond stirk, I don't see any proof that anything else has been done. He's asking for a job, give him one. Maybe his destiny isn't in modding, but in making the mods look good.
It takes a lot of guts to post any work here, and when its killed because it doesn't conform to what you want, then maybe you should think otside the box. If Tamriel is to be rebuilt without help from Bethesda, then you are gonna need people to do whatever they can. Instead you have a few people that are overworked, that miss the small details, and who can blame them.
Maybe you could send him some lines of dialouge to record.I know that voice actors are needed for the tons of NPC's you are building.
I think Bero would do what was asked of him, if it were helping the cause of rebuilding an Empire. I know I would.

Ok I have nothing to do with this thread and am not a reviewer or a moderator but thats a crazy conclusion to jump to there
Zimpa Motonoke. What I think they mean is that when you make your showcase you should not copy Bethesdas stuff, as in don't go to a morrowind interior say "that looks nice" and copy and paste it as your showcase. I dont think they mean you have to create everything like do you expect every showcase to contain an entire new game?

Sorry to butt in but I really could not help myself.

Zimpa, watch your tone. Especially when talking about something you so obviously don't know.

Cage is right in the scence that nobody is expected to do 3-D moddeling for every work. Only 3D moddellors do that. I know jack shit about moddelling yet I do interiors.
This team is made up of many and not one or a small group. To give you an idea, we have:

Interior Modders
Exterior Modders
Reviewers
Moddelors
Texturers
Scripters/Questers
Concept Artists
Music & SFX guys
and other people who do an assortment of smaller jobs, such as screenshots

Do not bitch about what we've made. Stirk isn't completed yet and we'd like to see you make a better mod.

What Bero did is called cookie cluttering, as in he copied beths work. You're allowed to use beths models/statics/whatnot but to copy an interior made by them is just no-go. Its illegal.

Watch your tounge unless you want to get a bad reputation.

And might I add that if anyone wanted such a job, perhaps they would ask for it, rather than do an interior makers showcase? ;)

I suck at interioring, I am a quester, and thus I did a quest for my showcase. If I was looking to do some screenshotting or voice acting, I'd post a thread about that, not about ints. And in our interiorers, we look for people who have skill at creating interiors, (bizaarely), not those who just copy and paste.

Just in case of misunderstanding, this isn't aimed at Bero, and well done you for working to correct the problems. :))

...ok, either you are clearly flaming/trolling or you are just bieng retarded. never didnt say that you cant use beth modells, there is no other way to mod (short of making everything yourself and no one is doing that in any mod anywhere). i was saying, as is clerified in the later sentances of my post, that you shoudnt copy bethesda made interiors.

Also, to folow up on my previous post, there is plenty to show that we are getting work done. there are threads in the news with updates of things other then stirk, there are screens on the main page, there is an BSF thread...

Just took a look at the int. its still cookie-cut. you did change the furniture around this time, and i supose thats progress, but there were still many parts of the original interior. PLEASE do an original intetior. open up the CS, pick a style, and drag-and-drop yourself an original shell. or feel free to audition for another area ofcourse. but if i get to review another cookie cut interior i will be one pissed lady.

[butt in] Perhaps the info from this sticky interior thread should be stickied in the showcase too? I couldn't find the anti-cookie cuttering policy here. At least one guide to modding says it's a fun way to make interiors, and I know that many aspiring modders don't know the policy yet.

no cookie-cutting is in our FAQ for one thing, but i do realise that many people dont read it...

i went and added cookie cutting to the modding guide thread here in the showcase so that everyone is aware of it.

At TR you should not copy anything from an existing interior, except perhaps the shell. Bookshelves, tables, whole interiors etc. should be created/filled by dragging the items out of the object window and placing them in the game world, not by copying and pasting from existing interiors.

Drag everything from the window, Bero.

If you have trouble finding the right objects to drag from the window Srikandi's Item Index is a very good resource.

Because nobody else took a look atit, I'll do it.

-You didn't use tribunal and bloodmoon, this give certain dirty errors that you can see with TESAME.
-Besides the first point, you're plugin is still dirty.
-Exterior: You're using a dunmer stronghold door in the hlaalu arches. That doens't fit, only hlaalu doors for hlaalu interiors or at least door jambs.
-Interior: You're using an imperial tileset with a dunmer stronghold door. Only imperial doors are allowed in an imperial interior.
-Interior doesn't fit exterior at all. This door must be really magical. Entering this house or so would be really impossible in real life. And those towers should also appear somewhere in the exterior world, which is impossible, because it's already in Balmora.
-You didn't use any cookie cutters. So that's good.
-You're mixing dunmer furniture with imperial furniture. Use only imperial furniture for imperial interior tileset pieces.
-Your interior should be more detailed.
-You're using poor (p or pm) furniture mixed with (rm or r) furniture. Use only one of these styles.
-There is a dwarven well in that house. I don't think it makes much sense.
-NPC Bero is lvl 100 and has a deadric suit. At TR we don't like uber characters. Only important characters may have a level higher than 25 even almost no NPC wears a deadric armor suit.
-"Did you these stools I buy them in Ikea." What kind of phrase is that? I don't htink tha greeting nr 1 is the best place to set this greeting.
-Ikea doens't belong to the MW lore. But If you have a good reference where the furniture is coming from, then you may use it.
My advice is to start with a new interior, because this one isn't logical and doesn't fit the exterior. You should make a simple house and make sure that the interior of the house fits the exterior and use the right tilesets.Look at some houses made by bethesda or better, from TR map1. You may even look at my latest showcase, how I maked a house on a island.

PLZ read this a few times: http://vernon.tamriel-rebuilt.org/tutorials/Vegor_Interiors_Tutorial.htm
It explains the rules of making interiors for TR.

I believe that door is just a placeholder so folk can get there for in-game testing, and not an actual exterior. ;)

Ok,as long he knows that the interiors have to fit the exteriors, its ok.
It would be a good progress if used only pm or rm com furniture and pm or rm com containers and that he doens't mix pm or rm com items.
I didn't mention that he should use only com misc items, but the site I've given him, should explain that.
