Bloodthirsty, you can do what I did. I just downloaded your plugin and and used the leveled creatures from that plugin. The level creatures are the same in TR_data, so it doesn't matter if it is in your plugin and TR_data.

Wait, are you sure that works and won't cause issues on merge? 'Cos I'd have thought that would add a copy to Map2.esm, which we don't want.

But if it works, I'll do that.

You should not have an object that has the same as ID as something in TR_Data as you should be using TR_Data as one of the master files your claim should be dependent upon... because any duplicates will be obvious when you load the .esp.

Therefore this should not be a problem.

Sorry but I don't quite understand: you say "You should not have an object that has the same as ID as something in TR_Data" but then "this should not be a problem" to doing just that (creating an object not in my version of Data, that will cite its origin as this .esp (or Viking's), and will then have the same ID as one in the proper version of Data.

What do I do? If it's okay to load this .esp as active, and then load the .esp for the Data Update as not active, but still checked, and then use the resources from that (essentially re-creating them in this .esp) will that create problems or not?

If not, I'll have the finished version up pretty much as soon as I get an answer.

If you are talking about using your .esp with the leveled lists, then no that shouldn't be a problem as they're the exact same as the ones in TR_Data, and TR_Data is the one being used so it shouldn't encounter any duplicates

Remember, I'm not yet using the latest version of Data, I'm still on the Public Release of Map 1 version.

Regardless, you seem sure, so I'll go ahead and do it. Expect the file soon.

EDIT: Here it is.

Only thing that needs to be done by merger is renaming the exterior cells to "Boethian Mountains Region" or whatever, 'cos I was told not to do that.

I was first, and blackbird before me, :) If you open up the file with TESAME, you can see exactly which topics are new.

from within the cs, open up the dialogue window(character, dialogue at the top bar) and then search for the topics which are present in TESAME. If you had bloodthisty's file as active and then edit the dialogue in that window, the changes will be saved.

That'll work, or you could just click "Details" when setting Data Files, and sort by Type. Then find all the topic entries (can't remember the code for it, but I'm sure you can work it out, it'll be the one with "latest rumors" etc. as the actual entries), and then go through each of the listed topics in the dialogue window, checking all the dialogue entries with a star by them.

You can make the fixes yourself, it is as easy as it seems. Just don't touch any of the filters! :P

Good luck!

Filters? Is that the names of the stuff in the leftside of the dialogue box? Like all the topics or whatever?

Anything that's not in the actual 'text' area. Mostly the stuff in the drop-down boxes, and also at times the 'results' box. Altering any of that can screw up dialogue a lot. (Gets assigned to wrong people etc.)

Chances of you doing anything like that are slim, but it's just a thing to be wary of.

I also checked the interiors and exteriors. I also properly named the exterior and fixed some dialogue to accompagny that. There are three main regions in this claim: The Mephalain Mountains, The Akafell Steppes(with Helnim Fields Settings if thats possible), and the Inner Sea.
So this is totally ready for merging, bloodthristy made filters in a cleverly way, so my changes didn't affect the dialogue.

By the way, are we going to change the name of the Mephalain Mountains? Everything about it screams 'typo' to me. (I mean, change it to "Mephalian")

well Mephalan would be the new name, should we change it, but Mephalain has kind of grown on me now. We'll see what the general public thinks once we release map 2

I suppose it's not so bad. But now my levelled lists are the typo. :P (I misread Mephalian when creating them)

BTW, speaking of those, I've noticed that Viking changed the names of the cells that I'd assumed were Boethian Mountains to Mephalain Mountains ones, but he left the spawn points as Boethian Mountains ones.

Perhaps someone with the latest Data (or myself, if no one can be bothered) could do a quick "search and replace" in all those cells, replacing the Boethian lists with their corresponding Mephalain ones?

Also, there's a typo under topic Ayemar (proud bastion... blah de blah... tthe Mephalain Mountains. Or something like that) that needs fixing.

Go to each of the relevant cells (the ones called "Mephalain Mountains") and then "Edit->Search and Replace" and then set the top drop-down box to "TR_r_Boethian_Mountains_land+2", and the bottom one to "TR_r_Mephalian_Mountains_land+2", and click okay. Then repeat for "land+0", "land-2", and also in one cell (22, -12) "TR_r_Boethian_Mountains_coast+2" and "-2" with "TR_r_Mephalian_Mountains_coast+2" and "-2".

It's a simple procedure, or should be.

Fixing all that now, including the typo. What about Mephalain Mountain cells that use Helnim Field leveled lists?

EDIT - Will I need to rename the Mephalian leveled lists to Mephalain?

It might indeed be a good idea to rename the Mephalian lists to Mephalain, yeah. Mephalain cells with Helnim lists should remain as they are.

One last thing to do, sorry I forgot to mention earlier, is attach TR_m2_NPC script to all NPCs, except those who are TR_m2_S_Name, who get TR_m2_NPC_Slave script. TR_m2_O_Names are just TR_m2_NPC.

Thanks very much. :))

Nope, you can't see it in-game and its clear enough. I named them Mephalain Mountains because they really link up with the Mephalain Mountains in my detailling claim and kebra's. Also they are separated from the Boethian mountains by the Helnim Fields. By the way, yours and my detailling claim really link up, except fo a river somewhere around 23/-9, were you can see a gap. Also, if you're an high elf you cant reach the guard tower of Ayemar because you get stuck. I think the awning over that ramp is too low.

I knew i was gonna miss something.

1) the walkway to the guardtower at Ayemar is toooo narrow. The player is forced off the walkway and floats forward until the bridge roof stops you, then you're stuck.
