Nowhere near the finished version 46, but will this shut people up while I get on with the business of getting my degree?

Most city cells are named correctly now, so you can coc to stonefalls, kragenmoore, etc within the game. Still experiencing some slight glitches with region naming in the enchanted editor, and avoiding addressing this is the main cause of delay.

Hm? Please elaborate? I'll see if I can fix the file permissions for this section.

Above Karthor Dale (-10, -14) there is a missing mesh,
TR_ex_velothi_tower. I guess this explains the doorway floating in the air also. Perhaps this is what blackbird means.

In (-14, -16) there are two missing meshes, TR_cont_crate_long_02 and TR_cont_com_basket_05.

Sorry if these errors should be reported elsewhere.

That's funny. The tower is there for me.

Was the mesh removed from TR_Data / OoT in subsequent releases?

I have the same error, and also have missing meshes in stonefalls: tr_ex_st_meris.nif

I have never come across a velothi tower mesh when I sifted through TR's models, though I could easily be mistaken. It's probably an old model that was left out for whatever reason in later OoTs.

The tower was probably left out because it doesn't look like other Velothi meshes. It bends in and out as it goes up some height.

It's not there for me; I think it was removed from OoT during one of the countless revisions it's undergone.

Do you want me to try and upload the mesh for you? Or do you want it gone permanently since it isn't all that good?

Well if it isn't all that good, let's not bother with it :-P I'd rather have no mesh than a bad mesh when one isn't really required.

Could someone look at the banners? Some banners have names already and I don't know whether this is good or not.

File updated to include 4-20 (a smoke, anyone?) and some other stuff I'm sure.

The Kartor Dale tower mesh is no longer there?

Oh just great. It means I'll have to remake the int.

I'm sure it was still there last time I updated Data.

(That quoted post is from May 2007. Int was reviewed in June and approved in July. Has the tower reappeared since? If there is no tower anymore, there is no way it could fit the exterior.)

Is it not there? I haven't removed anything manually from Karthor Dale ever, I'll check my version to see whats up.

EDIT - The tower is not there; could you send me the file(s?) you have?

That wouldn't happen to be the tower in Karthor Dale whose mesh never made it to TR_Data, would it? I believe I removed it after being unable to locate the mesh for it.

I've found out that it was indeed not in my TR_Data archive. This surprised me because I had used TESFiles on all six map files to be sure to have all the needed resources... And looking at it, I've found out that in an old version of Map4, the definition of the Velothi tower had been dirtied and the assigned nif was... marker_error.nif!

No idea when and how and who, but that's the reason why the file wasn't TESFilesed...

Here's an archive with the tower mesh and a small ESP file that adds it back to Karthor Dale. (Did you notice the flying door when you removed it?)

Tell me if you decide to not put it back in, because the temple would then have to be reworked.

Oh. Oh my.

I simply cannot believe how fucking awesome this map is.

I thought Map 1 was good. Then I saw Map 2. I thought nothing could beat that. Then I saw Map 3. Then I knew nothing could beat that. Then I just today saw Map 4.

How did we manage to get so much pure, unadulterated win into one map? How?!

Y'know, I'd thought Ouada-Gahridur was nice, and found out it was crap, and that Riverbridge was awesome, and found out that really it was only one hill that was awesome. And I thought I was going to be underwhelmed by the rest of the Map, too.

Turns out those were the low points.

Highlights have to be the small Redoran outpost, and the nearby monastery of St. Olms, and of course Karthor Dale.

Highlight so high it's in the atmosphere, if not hovering near Pluto, is Bodrum, which has got such a crap name, but perhaps the most absolutely brilliant layout of any city ever ever ever, all crammed into one delicious cell! Whoever made that deserves a medal for services to mankind.

Anyway, sorry for this pointless praise-throwing, but I am just so psyched by this map, I need to tell someone how good it is. (Not that you guys don't already know ;))

I cannot wait til this is released.
