Hey, I know a page that could be very useful for you. You'll find there propably all info that you need and if you won't you can ask them on their forum :)

Aro: you have only one Aro missile!
PoHa: yes, but its heat seeking and quite possibly indestructible

Hate to necromance, but perhapse someone here can help me with an issue:

i've finally gotten blender down enough so that i can model.

i've sucessfully exported a .nif for M.W. using a modified spear.

i've created a new spear (an iron trident) within the C.S.

HOWEVER, the new item has a couple problems;

1) i cannot drag and drop the item to add it to either the viewscreen, nor add it to a container.

2) custom icon (a .tga file) brings forthe a "could not be found" error.

has anyone ever run into this issue?
~thx

For something like this you don't have to nceromance an old thread, you can simply create a new one. (I don't know how to help you, sorry.)

My experience is limited so I'm not sure of what I say, but:

Does it have a bounding box? Does it have the proper weapon bone?

Try comparing in NifSkope your trident with, say, one of the normal Morrowind spears. Look at what's different.

Yea, checking the differences is the best way. Also, for practising it is good, to modify vanilla stuff first. Then trying to make something new from scratch.

BAH, nifskope just looks like gibberish to me.

i'm already pretty good with the CS, just wanted to try the blender to nif scripts and put some of my own creations ingame.

seems to be a lost in translation issue.
thought it might have been something i did during export, or a known issue.
