I can't see distant land, only distant trees.
The object TRCliff01bDUPLICATE isn't available in the data, but is present in goldmoor.

Load order, please. I wouldn't be surprised if the distant LOD is only displayed when TR's files are the first thing loaded.

Do you mean the load order in the data files menu? They're all alfabetical.

That is not the load order, that is the alphabetical listing of the Master Files and plugins (I assume you mean when you start up the game, I've never seen them in alphabetical order elsewhere)

Load order would be which one is loaded first, then second, third, etc.; their names wouldn't affect this, their last modified date would, I think. I'm not sure, but I believe some third party tools can change load order (what's it called? Gah... can't recall; [checks] Oblivion Mod Manager, maybe some other programs could also do it...)

I have the same error. No idea from where it came from. Though, I didn't notice any harm because of it.

Showcase is not for error reporting about TR maps. It is used for promoting. In most cases, after someone is promoted, the showcase dies and it is supposed to stay dead.

You can post your reports here by the next time.

Wierd, I experience no problems with uploading files here. Wait for an admin to check if something's wrong, because you should be able to upload too.

its been a few days so i was just wondering if there were any sort of help i can get with my problem. i think the CS cant find any TR OoT files. im not sure why though. but it would be great if someone could help.

i wanted to check out an exterior claim somewhere in the goldmoor region. and the person had to revoke coz he moved away or something and left TR. but it wont load etc coz of those files are missing.

but yeah thanks anyways.

Ps the attachment thing is fixed.

How much RAM do you have Goochy? Maybe your comp can't take so many error messages at once? :P

I think everyone does, though on Gooch's machine, it crashes. Maybe if we could get rid of those nasty error messages for good...?

Wait... its not crashing? Err... my head has been spinning too much lately.

A gig is fine, so that's not it.

If an object were missing they'd have Yellow ! markers, not grayed out. I have no idea what that would mean, actually.

To anyone who was having trouble with LOD files, check out the download. I updated it. It should be unpacked in your Oblivion folder. Note: Trees still not work for me.

I just got my hands on PC Oblivion the other week.

I was hopimg the Gooch figured it out, learn what he did either to cause the problem (don't seem to be that many people with this problem) or how he worked through it. I

Im back now, so ill check out if my fresh install has the same problem. Will update soon. just asking do you still have the same prob meno?

EDIT:

The OoT is corrupt (or something).

there are a lot of missing objects. EG:

Could not locate form (01005C0C) in Region Object Data Load for Region "TRGoldmoorSub1".

Missing object (01005C0C) for reference (02003251)
Missing object (01005C0C) for reference (02003250)
Missing object (01005C0C) for reference (0200324F)
Missing object (01005C0C) for reference (0200324E)

*Note the same code "01005C0C"*

I think the Object ID's have been altered. so they are not working when the HF.esm is loaded.

Basically what i think is that the OoT was changed... and HF is dependent on some files that were changed...

another thing which would be cool, is if the OoT was released as a BSA. then there would be little chance for stuff ups.

this has been there *forever* and was indeed caused by some objects being deleted and then overwritten and stuff. if anyone has any ideas as to how to fix it do tell, but it causes no problems in region generation and most people can run it fine (see above).

OoT as bsa: no. maybe when we release everything, but not now. it doesnt really reduce the chance of mess ups at all (since a bsa is just another form of archives). the main draw back is that it adds 45 megabytes (!) of extra data to the download.

Thanks N.
And yeah i checked a few regions and they seem fine... i think in a previous post,i mentioned some objects were greyed out.. thats because teh region generator made them.

i understand the reason for not doing bsa... but 45 meg.. thats hefty... its safe to ignore these errors.. but if anything else pops up in the future it should be investigated...

i am actually trying to remove these errors, though not with much success (turning hammerfell into an esp tends to freeze the CS completely for some reason).

im not sure what you mean by "grayed out." download the latest OoT and see if it persists, i know the old objects had errors in material properties and textures that could cause them to appear grayish.

Might it be freezing because Map 8 was made before CS version 1.2?

what i mean by greyed out, is that in the list of all the objects in the cell that were created by the CS, thru the region generator, the text is grey. if it was non cs gen, it would be black. this isnt some texture issue. it seems perfectly normal.

its not the 3d models in teh viewer that is grey. if you really dont understand what i mean i will post a screeny when i get home from work later.

nah, i understand it now. was modding and noticed the grayed out text myself. is it a problem? it doesnt cause anything to go wrong on my side.

haplo: i believe the versions are backwards compatible? i guess merging files (thus editing the esm) would fix it?

i have unpinned this thread, as hammerfell is no longer with the project. however, i have also updated the link to point to the latest version of hammerfell. grab the latest OoT (linked in the appropriate thread) and feel free to check it out.

please treat these files as if they were TR property, and don't distribute them. thanks.
