Welcome to Tamriel Rebuilt.

I looked at your .esp. So far, the majority of things are either bleeding into other things. For instance, the Dwemer chest on the desk bleeds into the desk and beyond that, why is it a Dwemer chest? Likewise a tree growing out of a rug just doesn't work. Also, the file itself is dirty, use TESAME to clean it (if you don't have it, download it from the utilities page). The exterior would look better if you used vertex shading. Pretty much reconsider the majority of things in the .esp. This is a Hlaalu house, so why a Velothi exterior? Dunmer house so why _Com furniture. Oh and the katana on the table is not original to the game so appeared as a exclamation point marker. Use original stuff or TR_Data stuff for your showcase.

Welecome my dear Arkansas friend. I told you the Dwemer stuff wasn't a good idea. No big deal. Just fix the errors and maby make a smaller house. That would be easier to make and fill and easier for you to test. Glad to have someone from school on the forums.

Welecome Night Watcher, I am glad you finally decided to join. And Life On End show them your other mod. Your other mods that you showed me are better so why don't you show one of them. You made this one in a hurry didn't you. Lots of floaters and stuff bleeding. Either way glad my abretising at school payed off. And don't worry you will do fine.

Errors

Post by Hillbilly Man »

Your secound one looks a lot better than the first. But you forgot to change the light settings. All you have to do is go to another velothi interior and see what the light settings are. Then you fill in the light setting with settings symaler to the other mod. Also the shelves and the table looked plain. Tamriel Rebuilt doesn't make mods for the player's houses so you need to fill it with detail. The showcase is meant to be like a random morrowind npc's house so you need to fill the room with furnishings based on what type of npc you want to live there. Fill it with stuff and change the light settings and it will be fine. If it didn't snow and we had school tommorow I'd show you how to change the settings but we don't so I had to explain it best I could. And the 2nd one looked better than the first to by the way. :)

Imperial furniture doesn't go in what looks to be a Dunmer hut, unless there's a good reason.

Seems like it's a hut inhabited by a staunch supporter of the Empire, since there is a Red Diamond tapestry. Shell may be Dunmer, but that doesn't mean the current denizen is the same as the original proprietor.

I have seen such interior before and we told him that imperial furniture and a velothi tileset doesn't match together. So we adviced him to remove all those imperial furniture. You may also change your velothi interior into an imperial interior. But remember that the interior has to match the exterior. Although I think that such houses are best not seen near VIvec.

It may help you if you looked at another interior of the same type. There are lots of them in Vivecc and Vos so you can look inside them there and see what furnuture and light settings they are using.

dude... screencapping... hit printscreen, paste into paint, then save it... snapping pictures of your monitor looks like shit. (although admittedly it is better than if you had a CRT)

As far as looking at the interior is concerned Night Watcher, how about you DL and look at it yourself.

BTW, I will review this once the imperial furniture is gone.

Printscreen

Post by Hillbilly Man »

Well I guess you will have to just go with the aful screen shots or not make screenshots at all. You could just fix the furnature and add some more detail and upload the house again. Or brave your way to wal-mart and try to stay on the road and buy you a new keyboard with a print screen button. Doesn't your mom have another keyboard on her computer.

I find it hard to believe that such a privative keyboard would still exist, but I guess civilization hasn't spread everywhere yet... =P

BTW, you do know that you don't need screenshots in interior showcases, and that in fact very few have them as they aren't really helpful. Modeling showcases, the ones that almost always have screenshots, don't even really need them, they are just nice.

The mod looks a lot better this time. There were still a couple of errors that I saw though. One thing is the dresser, plate, and the bed were all floating slightly. The chest was scaled up to 1.5 which is too big for a chest of that type. Like the way you filled the bookshelf with potions and the table with soul gyms and silverware. The two small chests are turned around slightly. And there is a grand soul on the table which is very expensive. They are also very rare in Morrowind and I highly doubt someone who is living in some small Velothi house would own one. That one looked a lot better than the first. :)

嘘です! You still have _com items in here!
Also, I see evidence of cookie cuttering. (DON'T COPY STUFF!)
Your plugin is not clean
you have lots of things half on rugs, which is bad.

I, or someone else, will review this once you fix these things.

i don't see a sign of cookie cuttering.
But I see some misc_imp-items replace them with de-items if possible. (except for the silver knife and fork)
Replace the com_candle by a de_candle.
You are using rich and poor furniture together. Plz choose between them. Note that if you choose for poor furn, you shouldn't have any silver item (rich class only) anymore.
Although the building is almost one piece, I think you know how to gridsnap.
The light settings has to be changed (World/interior cell) and changed according an velothi building.
Some sacks may bleed a little bit.
remove some soul gems plz. (not all of them)
It's not a bad interior, but the interior doesn't fit the exterior. Plz place the exit of hte exterior building soemwhere else.
The file isn't clean yet. Only custom items, the cell with the name of the house and cell where the house is, are allowed to be in this mod.

building STILL does not fit the exterior. Have you ever considered changing the shape of the INTERIOR? Its hard to find a building shell that fits the current shape. (because there isn't one)

Although I knew that static/shape wasn't one that one uses for simple velothi houses (actually more for temple and tomb rooms), but I thought it was ok. It is a bit my fault.

Looking better every time. The exterior matches the interior this time and the theme of the house is accurate. A temple healer. The books pretty much match and the book shelf looks good. Here is the stuff I saw that was wrong. The North Marker was pointing the wrong way. On the top floor the tapestry bleeds through the floor. And on the drawers in the bedroom the belt bleeds. Everything else looks good. And almost forgot, all the small chests are turned around backwards. Great work and it won't be long now until your a modder. :)
