I'd like to join in on this, so I have posted my most complete mod I've worked on, which is this little house I made northeast of Pelegaid.

Tell me what you think (which you always do anyway).

On your interior:

Nice description

It's not much of a manor exterior-wise

Your northmarker is facing the wrong way. It's pointing west when it should be pointing north. Make sure your interior lines up with the exterior.

Your lower fireplace doesn't go all the way to to the top. It should be further outside of the interior wall or have another one placed upside down in the top floor so that the shaft goes from the bottom floor to the roof. Good job making the steam in the exterior match the lit fireplace in the interior.

Illegal to sleep wasn't set; if it's not, then the player can sleep anywhere, just like in the wilderness.

de_r_closet_01_MHC on the top floor is half on a rug and half off. Generally (most cases; 99% of the time) this is a bad thing.

Light_Com_Candle_16 bleeds into the table on the top floor. On the same table the food on the plate bleeds through the plate and some floats as well.

both light_com_candle_08_64s on the fireplace bleed into it.

Your books on the bookshelf on the middle floor are kind of plain; switch it up a bit. Change books, don't do whole sets, get some variation.

The chest near the bookshelf with 100 gold isn't locked. Careless!

The table, crate, and chair near the bookshelf are bleeding through the rug, and again, are half on and half off. Not good! Things one rugs should rest completely above the rug on the surface, not through it.

Good job with the pillows in the master bed. I like the rotated barrels in the basement as well.

Some of the wine on your wine racks is bleeding badly. Also, you use the same bottle. Switch it up; no one has 20 of the same bottles of wine in their basement. Get some blue, some green, some brown, some with corks, some without, etc.

It could be a bit more detailed; several areas are pretty empty.

Also, if you want to do it really right as far as NPCs go, you should add ownership of all the take-able items to the NPC. That way if you visit the interior and steal something, she'll call for guards and you'll get a fine increase instead of nothing happening.

I think that's it. Fix these things and your interior will be shipshape! It's already pretty good. I'm sure some folks here are also interested in seeing your talents with Oblivion interiors if you ever create one.

After attacking the place and scrutenizing (sp?) it thoroughly, I think I am done.

There are two things I have to tell you though: Since Aryn Sanrethi doesn't own the house she doesn't have too many possesions. But I strove to change some stuff, such as her bed, and food.

The things that belong to me don't have an owner at all since Morrowind NPCs can't steal.

That, and the fact that I can't see NorthMarkers in my render window! I think I turned it the right way by making it into a table, turning that, and making it a NorthMarker again.

And yes, I'm afraid it doesn't look like much manor-wise. I maintain that I don't like beggers poking round my sweet house. Plus it is a basic interiors demo, right?

I forgot that it was your player's house and not the NPCs, my bad. You can turn on northmarkers by selecting it from a drop down menu in the CS. View, I think.

It's facing the right way now

I just caught two new things;

bk_DivineMetaphysics and bk_RealNerevar both bleed out the back of the bookshelf. I won't hold it against the interior though as it's my fault for not catching those.

crate_01_empty floats now (the one that was on the rug)

some of your bottles (two I think) still rest improperly, but good job increasing variation there.

There's enough errors still to warrant another fixed version if you want, just to make sure you know you've caught everything, but you've done enough quickly enough and with a good enough attitude for a promotion.
