Province Architecture Ideas

Post by Legolas55 »

I have thought of some ideas we can use for architecture in the other provinces.

Black Marsh-On the land are mostly shacks and some extravagantly curved buildings in the bigger cities. Underwater, there can be bubble-like structures, floating in the water, held together my metal frames. Each one glowing with a yellow light. The walls from the inside and outside are translucent.

Elsweyr-Middle-eastern-like architecture, with the flat roofs, overhangs, and lots of outside markets. The bigger cities can have taller, and more extravagant buildings.

Valenwood-Some big cities in the forest can be based around a HUGE tree. Similar to Telvanni, branches can be used as houses, with spiral steps going all the way to the top of the tree. This is like Lothlorien's city in Lord of the Rings.

Summerset Isle-Very extravagant. Lots of metal frames of bridges, fences, gates, etc. have carved-through leaves and vines. Lots of ivy, vines, etc. Similar to Rivendell in Lord of the Rings.

(I got a lot of these ideas from Lord of the Rings, as you can see)

Hammerfell-Hard to say. We'll hav e to get pictures from Redguard, but my guess is a mix between middle-eastern, mediterranean, and Caribbean.

Skrim-As TR has said, major cities will have stone and wood, but smaller cities will have all wood.
