Hi - I did a search and couldn't find any variations on this topic, so I thought I'd ask if it's possible to get the ingame minimap to display the entire Telvanni mainland.
I downloaded the beta version of Map 1 sometime last year, and I got the expanded beta w/quests pretty much the second it came out. I love TR and I can't wait for Map 2 to come out (yeah, I know - "when it's done" - besides which you're not quite finished with Map 1 yet).
However, there's one minor annoyance - only about half of mainland Telvanni country shows up on the minimap. Everything east of Ranyon-ruhn is nothing but ocean. I tried using Wrye Mash to get the rest of the map to show up, but it didn't work. Is there a way to fix this, or is this an inherent aspect of the map's design?
Thanks,
BBQ Platypus

It's not the mod that's wrong, it's the games code. You can't really do much to extend the world map in-game, it's hardcoded sorry to say.
Everything beyond that row of cells won't be seen on the minimap unless you use Morrowind FPS Optimizer (which is a great tool by the way). Even then it's not perfect. The textures won't be coloured in.
I would give a link, but I forgot where to find it.
Hope that answers your question!

Ah, I see. Unfortunately, I have an improved graphics pack, though, and I'm not sure if the FPS Optimizer is compatible with that. I really would rather not implement it only to find out that it isn't. In any case, I've printed out a map that I should be able to use. I'll just navigate by landmarks and dead reckoning instead, I suppose.
