A little texture work

Post by connary »

Hi all¡

I dunno if this is the place to put this kind of thread, sorry for the inconveniences if not.

Im working in a new texture replacer for all the TR references to get a similar level of detail and design that my own mods for the main Morrowind game like the illuminated books, the elder scrolls one etc...

I want to show the first works to the TR modders, I dont want to break the mod lore and any any help, or ideas can be welcome.

One of the paintings shown in the screenshot its a base drawing by Lutemoth and i will request his permission.

In any case thks for this great mod project.[/img]

I was waiting for something like this. Can't wait to see what you can come up with for the new creatures. Great work connary. :)

Thks El Scumbago for your nice words.

I don't know if I understand you correctly Harke, I'm talking about retexture the complete pack of TR textures. If u are asking about my possibly collaboration for some specific textures on demand by TR modders I offered my help in a TR showcase topic and in the Bethesda forums time ago. The answer is yes, of course, but only limited to the Morrowind mainland project.
It will be better for the final solution of this textures a work altogether with the modders to avoid break some lore or immersion adding new details out of place but if this is not possible i will maintain the basics about colours and motifs that the textures included currently in the TR data file.

In other side I founded a few meshes with very rare UV maps and im working too in his mess.

Thks for the interest.

Saludos

You posted in your showcase twice last year. I reckon most of us had forgotten about you. (It sometimes happens that awesome modders post one wonderful plugin in the showcase and then post their next reply a year later). If you are interested, I know Lud wants some luxury retextured book (but that has to be finished first), you have to ask about that.

I don't know who is in charge of TR_Data (Haplo?). They might have something for you to do too.

Interesting work. A point of interest: The original drawing was by MK on the back of another piece of paper, Lutemoth took it, spruced it up a bit, and colored it in.

It might be a little strangely prophetic to have that painting, seeing as it depicts events described in Oblivion that take place during the Oblivion Crisis. :P

It is pure awesome though, so 'twould be good to smuggle it in somewhere else (probably not in a texture pack for our entirely lore-friendly mod, though ;))

And that is the MK version, not Lute's.

Not if you're using his texture replacers for the vanilla creatures :D
