I've instaled morrowind and when I run the game this pops up:
Font 0 not found in .\Morrowind.ini.
Current path: C:\Program Files\Bethesda Softworks\Morrowind.

Vista acts funky when you install stuff in Program Files.

I have no other idea.

Go on to planetelderscrolls, and try looking for any mods that replace your ini file. It might end up putting it in while it does the changes.

Anyway, this is the one I use. Go to "my computer", click on your c drive (or where ever morrowind is intalled), click on the bethesda folder, go to morrowind, and scroll down tell you find the document "morrowind configuration settings". Open it, delete the contents, and paste everything below into it. Might work.

(If it doesn't, maybe you need to install a more recent microsoft word?)

EDIT: Well, it looks like he got it, so I will take it down now. Will do next time TF ;)

Yes; that's ok now but that pops up:
You need to load at least one .ESM or .ESP file to run Morrowind.

Someone with more knowledge about ini's will likely post soon telling you what to delete in my ini. If it is working enought for you to get the game running then I am glad I was able to help :)

mothergoose edited it out. It was the entire text of his/her morrowind.ini file.

His :) Clear any confusion.

The the map 1 is located to the far east of vvardenfell. Check out the maps we have here on TR. On ingame map, will appear as a large, narrow brown mass.

Run BSAReg.exe, or edit your Morrowind.ini file yourself, to register TR_Data.bsa.

Post by Magus88 »

I got the same problem, When I try to play the game a lot of files are missing and morrowind sometimes even crashes.
I tried reading the readme that comes with it and it says that you have to manualy input information on the Morrowind.ini but the information you have to enter is deleted from the readme!!! HELP!!!

Open your Morrowind.ini file, and scroll to where it says:

[Archives]
Archive 0=Tribunal.bsa
Archive 1=Bloodmoon.bsa

Now add:

Archive 2=TR_Data.bsa

on a new line below Archive 1=Bloodmoon.bsa
