Become a quest playtester!
Ever wanted to play the quests that we are making? This is your chance! You can become a quest playtester. And you don't even have to be a modder to become a playtester. You only have to be a little bit nitpicky.
That's why I made a little test so I know you can playtest well. You can download the plugin in this post and playtest this fun little quest. Then you can pm your list with all the errors to me and if you found enough errors, you can officially playtest! You can start the quest by speaking to the Khajit Rigi, who stands on the road from Ranyon Ruhn to Gah Ouadaruhn on map1.
Look for the following errors;
-typo's
-error messages when you start the game
-are there ways to cheat the quest?
-is everything working as it should?
-is the reward high enough or not?
I hope you have fun with the quest and become a playtester.

Hi, I would prefer it if everyone pm's their error report to me and doesn't place it into this thread. That way noone can simply read the errors in this thread and then become a playtester. You need to be a little bit nitpicky and good in finding errors.
The location is the same way I describe it in the official quest report thread. So the place were this quest begins is on the road from Ranyon Ruhn to Gah Ouadaruhn, at the beginning of the Aranyon pass there is a Khajit, who starts the quest.
I chose this quest because it's fun and it is playtested quite well already so I problably know all the errors. JennaK is the first who pm'd me an error report so here's a cookie for you.
Please, if you have questions about map1, please pose them in another thread. If you have a question about this quest, you can place it here, off course.

I have recieved many replies of people who wanted to become a playtester. This is very useful and because of the work of all the playtesters there currently is no work for morrowind for them. If you can play oblivion, though, I really can find some work for you. For those of you who have oblivion but no morrowind and want to become a playtester, please pm me and we will find another test. Thanks to all of you, and if we need more playtesters again, I will post it here.

I've just removed two persons from the playtesters usergroup because they were inactive. So if you want, I would like it if two more persons could become a Morrowind playtester. We still need a couple of Oblivion playtesters too.

*update* put me on the "waiting" list cuz i am overloaded with work until perhaps next monday. I still would love to put in my constructive criticism though for whatever mods you have. One other thing is, I do have morrowind (not installed at the moment), but I would be of more use to test an oblivion mod. 'til then...

there is stirk, theres a lot of quests for that, and you can report errors on that. you should pm theviking. he talk you through everything you need to know.
(i fix the errors for stirk...) though he might just reply to this.
edit: dont download stirk, its not the latest, just pm theviking.
public is 0.9, internal is 0.95
so there is probably a lot of things changed since then.

To all of you who want to become playtesters, we now have two very good tests for that. We have released two great mods with quests, our new beta of Telvannis for morrowind and the island of Stirk for oblivion. You can choose any quest from these mods that you want and test it out completely. Then you have to pm me your error report and you might get promoted to the usergroup. (If your report is insufficient, I will tell you what to look out for more) You can find both mods in the public downloads section.

As of 9/8/09, Map 9 (Oblivion) could really use some testers. If you have any interest in Oblivion quest testing, just send me a message expressing interest. If you have the motivation, I'm sure we can get you approved by the relevant authority.
In order to facilitate the recruitment of Oblivion playtesters, the following file has been made available to the public. Please download it, and place an organized listing of errors in your showcase. If you display motivation and commmunication skills, I hope that you find swift promotion. Note that this is not the final release of Stirk; it is Stirk with a whole bunch of extra errors added to make your life more satisfying.
As of 11/05/09, we still need people to playtest Map 9.

At present there is no real demand for playtesters. If there is in future, a new thread shall be posted. This would probably be necessary again once Map 2 is getting ready for a quested release.
By all means make a quest showcase if you are interested in quests, however.
