Um... problem

I had a missing music file from my morrowind bsa, so I uninstalled and then tried to reinstall, and it won't do anything. I click "install morrowind (tm)" and it doesn't do anything after that. I deleted my whole bethesda folder and nothing. I have noticed my C drive has been highlighted blue (when my computer is selected). Some files on it have been compressed. Does that have anything to do with it?

Did you recently do anything to your computer that might have triggered these changes?

I downloaded a torrent. I also compressed my cd drive a little bit. Thats about it.

Ok, I have tried a bunch of stuff and I am about 99% sure that the data on my disk got corrupted. That is why it was missing the sound file in the first place. I'll just order a new one.
