That's really weird. You're not the only one who had a problem with scripts that can't find cells. It's really odd because the cell is there.

I have no guarantees it will work, but you can try turning the esm into an esp (Wrye Mash, TESDTK, and the Enchanted Editor can all do that), open the esp in the TESCS, and then open the script window and recompile all scripts. Then save, and turn it back into an esm.

Cell: Tel Oren

Just south of the tower, there are several muckspunge plants that aren't rooted into the ground. They've been F'ed down, but if you look at the muckspunge on Azura's Coast and in Gnisis, the brown part at the bottom of the plant is always below ground.

I haven't been playing long, so my list of things is quite short. Great job from what I've seen so far, though! I'll try to keep combing the islands to look for stuff.

I think the mesh is the fault since the texture would not have anything to wrap around if there wasn't that flat slide.

Though you would have a hell load of more errors if you haven't. But there is no TR folder in your meshes folders only because we have the files in the TR_Data.bsa file.
I found that You have to put the TR Data in the Data files, then run The BSAReg while in the Zip file, it worked for me.

This actually WORKED!!! Had nearly the same error, only with "Mournhold" missing, i think it might be a problem with localized versions, was totally pissed last week when i couldn´t start Morrowind with Map01 but after ^^ (with Enchanted Editor) it works, just arrived on the new Map. Great work TR-Team, thank you very much.

I think you're talking about the robes etc. with the _tt_ suffix? That just means Telvanni. You'll notice there are also _rr_ and _hh_ robes. (Unless there's some other robes you're talking about)

Speaking of these things, some Indoril and Dres clothing of the same classes would be useful. :P

The robe I was talking about was expensive_robe_02. I considered it to be a Tribunal Temple priest robe, because on Vvardenfell only Tribunal Temple priest wore it. My bad.

Anyway, I did a quick check around Port Telvannis, and others are definately wearing the wrong clothing:

Suleri Herothran wears extravagant_shirt_01_r (Redoran shirt)
Vero Renim wears extravagant_robe_01_h (Hlaalu robe)

Actually, the "r"s and "h"s etc. aren't strictly house clothing. Generally people from that house wear it, but a lot of other people also wear it too. It isn't really an error. :)

Error: There are two of them (in other words, I have to open the doors twice).

edit: I'm seeing this problem with every place I've been using the old map, either with doors or people. If I've talked to someone using the original TR map, there's another instance of them with V2.0.

Since I haven't seen the last two errors posted here before it may be something I am doing. But, it did not do this with the original TR map.

During the first beta, I had noticed a skirt from Zainna cave that showed up in inventory as a diagonal line, but looked fine on the character. That skirt came from Dalave Romari, and is still a problem. I later ran across another identical skirt being sold by a merchant.

Also in Zainna, the platform in the central area is VERY difficult to access by a large character due to insufficient headroom. The initial encounter was much more difficult than previously, since every occupant except one came out to join the "party" at the front door.

Skullkeeper has obviously changed from the first beta, and is no longer escorted by a couple of rather "malnourished" helpers (all skin and bone, minus the skin). Besides the sex change, the NPC no longer carries the various beast and human skulls which were formerly the "trademark" of the character. I felt disappointed.

Otherwise, the beta is looking very solid, congrats.

Cell: A Firewatch Tower Interior

Hi, I am not a beta tester but thought this is that kind of thing. On my first visit to Firewatch I hopped up to the top of a big tower and I saw a door a tick to the left. I took a look in the CS but don't know my way around, still I found a door like that in a tower.

Am I OK to to say that here? Sorry I can't be more specific.

Firewatch is nicely done, BTW.

You know what's also popular? Enormous flying cities and ridable dragons. Maybe TR should invest in navigable ships and underwater cities.

I don't have the world map portion (any at all) from TR...

EDIT:

I am going to remove this post I made and reinstall. I think maybe it is am just missing files, sorry. I thought perhaps that was the engine limitation you mentioned, but think otherwise now.

Surely Poison Song has a thing or two to say about that? Doesn't Gorne have a pyre of Dagoth goodies at some point in history there?

I cannae remember precisely of course, and it's entirely possible I'm remembering incorrectly.

House Dagoth junk was trashed in several locations on the mainland. Maelasi Cavern is not a dumping ground. It's an actual Sixth House shrine. Not even the dumping grounds in Map3 have a shrine.

If it has to stay then I'd suggest trashing it abit. RIght now it's a nice little Dagoth shrine. If it's supposed to be a dumping ground then everything should be awry.

Ring of Levitation?

Post by Kovacius »

This one struck me as funny:

TR_furn_barrel_ring01
Firewatch (17,15) 147374, 124790, 599
There's a barrel ring floating about a foot above the ground, with a wickwheat plant growing up directly through the center of it. It's located between two of the houses in Firewatch a few doors to the right of the Argonian alchemist.

Also, not a "world" problem, but:
TR_misc_skull_arg02
This is labelled as an "Argorian" skull, not "Argonian".

Nothing. That's a Morrowind error. The Landmass is still there. If you really want to have a map there is a program that you can download. I think it's FPS Optimizer v2.0. The map is a bit buggy, though...

Edit: Lud already corrected me, but what the heck.

FPS Optimiser v2.0 is what you're talking about. It suffers from two problems:

1)The map becomes greyscale

2)The application has to be closed with the task manager

More levitating stuff

I spotted a couple of "floaters" hovering above the mountainside overshadowing Tel Ouada:

terrain_rck_wg_15
Tel Ouada (24, 18) 198700, 148285, 2018
Tel Ouada (24, 18) 198680, 148162, 2056

Walking into the Captain's private quarters aboard the Silver Serpent was easy; getting out involved a locked and trapped door, or an Intervention spell.

When I've got my notes with me, I'll add the details about the floating book and pillow below decks in the bow of the ship which is in for repairs at Bal Oyra.
Locked
