Photoshop, using the clone tool, mostly. I misread your first post.

EdAptra, you probably added a mod that modified the world map. The Hammerfell map will obviously have issues when loaded with map-replacing mods, or map-altering mods, as their map will override ours, if it's not in the right loading order.

It shouldn't; because this is the Hammerfell worldspace, not the Cyrodiil worldspace; and so on a TR-map-altering mod should alter the TR map.

The game can only handle one world map, though. I thought we went over this problem when Noirgrim initially put it into the game.

And how did bethesda do the map of the Shivering Isles? We should do it in the exact same way, maybe we can look at its settings to find out how it works.

Are you sure you're not talking about back in the days when we tried to make it the same worldspace as Cyrodiil and Stirk? I remember we had a combo map.

We do not use a combo map.

Hammerfell has its own worldspace and a seperate map.

It works properly.(For me, it works even better than the SI map, which was sort of displaced in my oblivion...)

/me refers aro101 to the use of "back in the days" and other constructions indicating a no-longer-relevant past.

We had a combo map because we did try to get everything in the same worldspace.

It was discovered that it was more troubles than it was worth, and was leading to many more; so this plan was dropped and instead we adopted separate worldspaces and thus separate maps.

This was before you joined, though, so it's normal if you don't remember it.

I'm not saying we didn't use a combo map :) I just wanted to make an official statement to clarify the current situation.

:)

Oblivion can handle one map per worldspace as far as I know. Since our landmass is in its own worldspace we provide our own map.

thats probably the hardest way you could have done it. all you really have to do is change the m from lower case to capital in Menus. no hex editor or anything.

I know we are not going to do this, but this kind of in-game map would just dominate!

I'm kinda glad that I kept a copy of this map before till lost, there seems to be a lot of questions about it, hope this clears things up.

This is the huge version... I don't think it gets much bigger than 2783x1930 pixels...
